I love that this leave in isn’t thick, it’s the perfect texture. I love the smell of it and it left my locs feeling super moisturized and my scalp. I love design products. I definitely will purchase again!

I decided I needed to go back to Design Essentials products as that is what helped my hair years ago. I always used the avocado leave in to comb out and detangle, however, I never felt it worked. It was like water in my hair. My hair has always loved coconut, so I decided to try this instead. This is thicker and seems to moisturize my hair. I like it so far. Time will tell though.

Design essentials > everything!! Love this stuff! I use the almond avocado leave in conditioner and recently decided to add this to the process along with the honey custard and it is FIRE! The best stuff for curly hair any type! And I have coarse hair and when I do my hair with this routine it last for about a week or until I start pulling and picking at my curls lmaoo

I’ve been transitioning to natural. My hair is a type 4. I’ve tried other leave-in conditioners and I almost thought they were overrated until I tried this product. I’m done looking. Well, that’s how I feel for now. This does what I need it to do for my hair and so far is the best. It provides the perfect amount of moisture. It makes my hair soft and manageable. I’ve used it to detangle and as a leave-in. This worked when products labeled “detangler” didn’t work. I’m starting on my third bottle. The bottle shown is the old formula. The new and improved formula is the Kukui and Coconut. It’s the same product. The older bottle says “Hydrate” and that’s exactly what this does. I love applying this before a protective style to maintain moisture underneath. With the consistency, a little goes a long way for my hair. It has a thin consistency. Other leave-ins are thick and creamy, which for some reason just sits on my hair and doesn’t absorb well. This absorbs quickly and instantly makes your hair softer. My hair is no longer tangled after I take down braids or other protective styles when I use this. I will definitely continue using this. If your hair is dry and in need of moisture, try this.

I recently tried the Design Essentials Kukui and Coconut Hydrating Leave-In Conditioner, and I must say, it has been a game-changer for my hair care routine. This product is specifically designed to hydrate and recondition dry, thirsty hair, and it truly delivers on its promises.
    Key Benefits:
    • Intense Hydration: The combination of kukui and coconut oils provides deep moisture, leaving my hair feeling soft and smooth.
    • Prevents Breakage: It conditions and strengthens my hair, reducing breakage and promoting healthier growth.
    • Versatile Use: Whether applied to wet or dry hair, it works wonders. I love using it after shampooing and conditioning, but it’s also great for refreshing my curls between washes.
    • Lightweight Formula: Despite its hydrating properties, it doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it feeling greasy.
    Application Tips:
    • For wet hair, apply a dime-sized amount for short hair, a nickel-sized amount for medium hair, or a quarter-sized amount for long hair. Comb through and style as desired.
    • For dry hair, use a small amount to refresh and style your hair.
Overall Experience: The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, which is a plus. My hair feels more manageable, and the natural shine is noticeable. It’s also sulfate-free, which is great for maintaining the health of my hair.
I highly recommend the Design Essentials Kukui and Coconut Hydrating Leave-In Conditioner for anyone looking to add moisture and shine to their hair without the heaviness of some other products. It’s a fantastic addition to any hair care routine!

My hair Luv Design Essential Hair Products. This Leave In is so moiturizing and leave my hair soft to the touch. My hair stylist before she Retired from hair used Design Essential products on my hair for years. I only have one issue. Unfortunately i didn’t receive the one with the pump on it. It was hard to squeeze out so i was really hoping for the pump. I’ll consider buying this Design Essentials product again since Amazon is the only place i seem to be able to find it other than on their website. Maybe the next time i’ll get the pump.
