This product works well for me. I have long hair and find, without a doubt this product detangles my hair with ease when combing out after a wash. It has never failed to perform. This is my 3rd purchase of this product and I highly recommend for anyone with long hair

It smells absolutely lovely ( of tea tree) it’s full of good ingredients, and calms my itchy scalp, however I do find I have to use quite alot to soothe irritation,but it doesn’t leave my short hair looking greasy, and the pump bottle works well

My daughter uses this product. I buy it for her. She has colored hair, very thick, somewhat curly and nearly down to her waist in length. This is the only product she has found that untangles her hair after washing. Her hair feels like silk if she lets it dry naturally or uses a blow dryer. This is also the best price I have found. I buy several bottles during the year and give her enough at Christmas to last the whole year. As she puts it, “I have an arsenal of hair products that I’ve tried over the years. I’m not wasting my money on any other products!”. I guess I should remind her that it’s my money 🙂

My Hairdresser uses this on my hair, along with a series of other B&B Products. I spray it all over my hair after I’ve towel dried it after washing it. I massage it into my hair and then use their heat protectant. Using high quality B&B Products has totally changed how healthy my hair is. I’m a huge fan.

I just started going to a new salon and my stylist recommended this product for freshening my hair between washes and detangling. I’m honestly not sure what the heck a “pre-styler” is supposed to be, but a little dry shampoo and about three spritzes of this lotion primer run through my hair wet really does a great job of freshing up my hair between washes. I love the scent lemon grass and tea tree oil combo. The primer/pre-styler dries soft, adding a little shine to the hair. No grease, oil or residue. I like it enough I usually use it on my hair on days I wash it as well. The tea tree oil helps enoucrage good scalp health and helps with dry scalp issues.
It appears quite a few people ended up with the wrong product when they bought this. Bumble and Bumble make a tonic lotion AND a tonic lotion “primer.” This review is for the primer, which is what I recieved in ordering. The packing on the two products is almost identical as well as the price. Double check before you click order!
Update: I’ve been using this product for a while now and still love it. But I found out that, personally, I can dilute it by a half with water and it doesn’t change what it does to my hair at all. At 20-25 dollars a pop this might be a good solution for those on a budget.
