I love this stuff – my hairdresser recommended it, smells wonderful and makes my hair feel so soft. It is heavily moisturizing so I need to use it in a cyclic routine with a moisturizing conditioner (Sauce Guacamole Whip) and a protein mask (Biokeratin Intense Thickening Hair Masque) or my hair gets weighed down and oily more quickly. I also don’t use it every wash, I use Ion hard water clarifying shampoo once every week or two. I noticed when I used a different shampoo on a week-long vacation that my scalp was itchier and drier within two washes, so I feel this product is doing its job! If I did use it every wash, I’m not sure the value would be quite as worth it hence the 4 stars.

I stumbled on the Amika brand and I’m glad I did. I have curly hair and I’m really happy with it. This line doesn’t make my hair frizzy. My hair soaks up product but this seems to be “thick” enough for my hair but not heavy to weigh it down.
