I’ve tried them all, at the salon and at home. I normally like the Redken green spiral looking product, several by R+Co, and Ouai.
This product totally surpasses the others. Curls stay, never frizzy even in Central NJ summer humidity+rainfall, yet NEVER hard or crunchy.
If I was not 57 and chunky, I’d beg to be a hair model for this brand. Yes, I love it that much. The whole line is superlative… but this balm is literally the best. [For me, and my wavy beach-like 3ft long hair.]

This is like a balm or cream coloured cream in a large tube. It has a luxurious texture and isn’t sticky. A small amount goes a long way. My hair is wavy so I use this to enhance the waves into curls. It has a pleasant smell. I put it on damp hair. It doesn’t cake in my hair. I leave it in for a day or two. I will buy again

Ich habe mich in den letzten 6 Monaten mal wieder auf die Suche nach dem Heiligen Gral der Lockenprodukte gemacht und kann nun sagen, dass Curlsmith der Gewinner ist.
Meine Haare: Type 3B, sehr fein aber füllig, brauchen Hilfe für Volumen und Feuchtigkeit
Als reine Lockencreme ist dieses Produkt absolut empfehlenswert, für feine Locken die Volumen brauchen ist die Weightless Airdry Creme allerdings die bessere Wahl. Die Creme hat meine Haare etwas beschwert, es war schwierig die Balance zwischen zuviel und zu wenig zu finden. Für dickere, trockene Haare ist die Creme aber bestimmt super. In Kombination mit dem In-Shower Style Fixer hatte ich damit trotz allem schon ziemlich tolle Ergebnisse.

At first I was very excited and then I found that it dries my hair very much and I stopped using this product. My hair is dry as a texture anyway and this product made it look very loaded and heavy. I will try to use less product and I will come back. I felt bad because the texture is absolutely fantastic.

Love all the curlsmith products! Although I find that they are pricey, which makes me keep searching for a cheaper alternative. I have found a few but always seem to come back to this brand. I do wish they would improve the smell.

If you are a curly girl this is a must have in your routine. I found CURLSMITH during covid and have been a ride or die loyal fan ever since. This product is amazing. Mix a little with water or gel if you like gel and voila you are good to go.
