My hair has a horrible tendency to frizz up the second it senses slight warmth or damp. It’s also thin, though, so a lot of products made for frizz weigh down my hair. I’d been using a styling milk for awhile, but less than 24 hours after washing, my hair would look greasy and clumpy.

The smell of this stuff, unfortunately, wasn’t great. I was concerned I’d smell icky, but thankfully, the cream did dry scentless. It was very easy to rub through my hair with my fingers, however, and I blow dried my hair as normal. I have sensitive skin, but it didn’t cause my scalp to itch at all.

This stuff is great. It lasted a full concert of me sweating and dancing without my hair frizzing up. The next morning, I woke up and my hair still didn’t look like a nightmare, just like it needed a brushing. Instead of waking up to dull, greasy looking frizz, it was still normal, bouncy hair

If you have problem with frizz – especially if your hair is thin and you’ve had problems finding products light enough, you’ve got to give this a try.

I tired this Bumble styling cream to help tame the frizzies.

It worked fairly well, though I didn’t notice a lot of difference between this and my somewhat less pricey styling product.

It does have a nice botanical scent.

i don’t do a lot of styling on my hair, so perhaps if I used a drying and curling iron it might have had more difference. It did make my hair look shiny, and helped the frizz to an extent.

My hair actually looked better the next day after using it than it did the first day. The waves were still there. So the product works well. I’m just not sure I’m willing to spend quite that much.

Bumble and bumble is a brand name that is known to me, though I have never tried their products before. I was a little hesitant in ordering this Hairdressers Invisible Oil Long-Last Styling Cream because it has the word oil in it. If you’re like me with very fine thinning hair, oil is the last thing you want in a styling product. At least that’s what I thought, until I tried this wonder cream.

It comes in a brightly colored tube, so it’s doubtful I’ll ever misplace it, nor would I want to because this stuff is gold! I applied a very small dollop to my freshly washed damp hair and quite frankly was amazed at the results. As I was rubbing it on my hands before application I noticed that it did not feel particularly oily, a good sign. When I went to dry my hair as usual, it seemed easier to work with-meaning my hair smoothed out more readily than usual on a round brush, and held it’s wave better.

Once I had my hair styled, it really did look healthier, shinier and felt very soft with no static or fly away. My initial concern was that the product would be too heavy for my fine hair. While I did not get as much
Lift at the crown as I do with other products, overall my hair looked much more natural and healthy.

In the end I used a tiny bit of Hairspray to get more lift and was super pleased with the end result.

And did I mention how great this stuff smells? The listing says the scent is warm floral and that is an apt description of the lovely, not overly sweet, engaging fragrance that perfumed my hair for not long enough.

Besides all that good stuff, I absolutely love the formulation of this cream. It is full of botanicals and there are no silicones or acrylates, which is hard to find in a hair styling product.

This is an excellent product, and I am very happy to have discovered it. When I ordered this styling cream it was selling for $16. For a 2 oz tube. That is not cheap but to my mind you get what you pay for and it really does take just a pea-sized portion for my short hair, so to me it’s worth it.

I have very fine hair and have avoided heavy “oily” things all of my life. Lately though, I’ve been giving some things a try that can act as a detangler and a styling product. I love Bumble and Bumble products, but I wasn’t sure if I was pushing my luck too far with this.

Tunrs out, this has been amazing for my hair. It squeezed out like a cream, but when you rub in your hands it becomes transparent. I used very little (about the size of a dime) and rubbed on my hair, but not my scalp in an attempt to be sure my hair didn’t end up flat.

My hair feels soft and moisturized and had the same lift it always does. I think this is because I was judicious with the amount. I also think this would be great on the scalp as a soother. I was able to scrunch and recurl with water the next day. And the smell is heavenly. Yes, I definitely recommend!

Whenever I see the word “oil” on a product I get nervous, because my hair is fine, thin, glassy-straight and easily weighed down. The ends have been through a lot of color changes and heated styling, so they’re prone to frizz a bit if they don’t like a product but again something more hydrating often makes things limp. And the product info for this styling cream does make it seem like it’s primarily for girls with curls or wave that are more concerned with smoothing, but I gave it a shot. And gurrrllll, I am glad I did!

I tried a very small amount (like two beans), distributed between my hands and then smoothed through the ends of towel-dried hair, then rough-dried with the blow dryer and heat-styled as usual. My hair turned out soft, smooth but took curl well, and lasted well throughout the day without falling out early. For my second trial I used a bit more product, distributed it higher into the midlengths as well, and didn’t use mousse at the roots as I would usually do. I lost volume at the crown, of course, but the lushness of the rest of the style made up for it. It also definitely helps with style retention — second-day hair is good enough for me to wear it as a soft wave, but a tiny bit of water on the fingers, shaken off and then raked through hair, refreshes the product and you can re-curl with great results. I never thought I could find a product that smooths without flattening, so altogether this might be a holy-grail product for my picky hair!
