I have recently let my hair grow after decades of wearing it short. Tangles are a challenge. It’s nice to have something to just spray in. I was expecting a peppermint smell, but it just smells clean to me. It says it is made in the US of US and imported materials.

As another review noted, the pump on this not great. It took me about 50 pumps to get it to start coming out, which is strange because this stuff is really thin. Water thin. It smells good, although I think “candy stripe” lends itself more to peppermint than this stuff actually does. I felt no slippage at all when I sprayed this on my hair, so my hair was still very difficult to comb. I ended up layering my regular leave-in conditioner over it. My hair does feel soft after using it, but that could be a combo of the two products. I will finish out the bottle as a heat protectant, but I was largely disappointed with this and at $29 a bottle, I would not order this again.

With a name like candy stripe, I was expecting this to smell like candy or fruits, but it has a fresh floral scent. The sprayer dispenses the product almost in a thin stream like spray so you have to spray it all over and then massage around your hair to disperse it. It works very well as a heat protectant and detangler. My hair feels soft and is not crunchy at all. Aside from wishing the sprayer had a more diffuse spray, the product is wonderful. I’ll likely just pour it into a different spray bottle.

Having trouble getting the pump sprayer to put out enough product to get it on my hair. Have to spray it in my hands and rub it on my hair to make it work.
