I have shoulder length, color treated, frizzy hair that was once very long, beautiful and naturally super straight. Now in my 50s my hair looks crazy lol, so i need some type of heated hair styling tool to get my hair looking decent or when i really want to dress up. I like that this works very quickly to tame my frizz and in ten minutes i am done and my hair looks great! but i hate that 5 minutes later my hair somehow doesn’t look the same. it kind of reverts back to looking a bit frizzy or limp although not nearly as terrible as when i started. In essence this tool forces me to use hair spray or gel but i don’t go through that with another heated comb tool that i have. the other tool takes longer to style my hair but it comes out better, shinier and slick. long story short, this tool is good enough but not great unless you use a lot of hair product, which i personally don’t like to use often because it builds up quickly and makes my hair greasy.

I saw another version of this hot brush on IG, but found this one for much less $ and I’m thrilled with it! I have fine medium length layered hair. Typically I use a hot air round brush but I like this much better because I can dry faster with a regular hair dryer and then use this which is faster than the hot air brush & with better results. It heats up instantly. Doesn’t catch or tangle in my hair yet holds it in place as I use it. I particularly love how easily it lifts the roots and controls the type of curl. I’ve been using it now daily for about a week and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Super pleased!!

I’ve tried just about every blowout tool and they never work/hold on my naturally curly and very thick hair but this did the job!! Normally I have to blow dry and then use a straightener on my roots and ends, and then another blowout tool to achieve a smooth look but I was able to achieve this with just a blow dry and this tool! Super light and easy to use, love the multiple heat settings, does not pull on your hair, and can’t beat the price. We’ll see how the product itself holds up over time but really happy with it so far!!

So I’ve been playing around with different styling tools and hair products for a while now just trying to find products and a good tool that will help my hair hold curls or a blowout. This came up on my recommended and I saw it has really good reviews so I decided I’d give it a try but it didn’t work for me sadly 🙁 Now, I have naturally thick long hair so I played with this and the hair products I used while styling for a few weeks because I wanted to give it a fair chance but I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s my hair that’s the issue lol Don’t get me wrong, the tool itself is amazing. It’s lightweight, easy to use and it gives me beautiful soft curls, my hair just won’t hold them for more than a few minutes lol I definitely do see this being a game changer for someone who’s hair isn’t crazy thick like mine which is why it still gets a great review from me. The only reason I took off a star was because when it arrived, it had some scratches on the top and on the side (pictured) but other than that, I think it’s a great tool for the price!

I’m no stranger to hair tools and I have naturally curly hair that’s pretty frizzy on its own. I normally use a flat iron and really enjoyed the in straight sleek look for years but I have embraced a 90’s blowout style and this really helps to achieve it! It’s nice and light and doesn’t hurt your arms while using it! It makes the hair very bouncy and soft as well. I love the volume it gives and it’s extremely well made and I can tell it will be a staple in my everyday styling routine. My only “con” if I would even call it one, is I wish there way a bigger barrel choice I’d love to see a 2inch version!
