  1. Amazon Customer

Gave my fine limp thinning hair great body and bounce

  2. Carolyn S

I have fine hair and this shampoo helps give it some body; the scent is pleasant but not extraordinary, so I gave that 4 stars instead of 5. The price is cheaper at Amazon than at my hair salon and it is more convenient to order online and get it delivered between stylings.

I really like this product. My hair is thinning and I need all the volume I can get. I’m very happy with the results…

  4. Jo Meeks

    Product smells great!

Why are there so many rave reviews?? Not only did this not improve the volume of my hair at all, it actually dried it out so bad it damaged it . I’ve never experienced this from a shampoo before , it was really shocking and upsetting. It also smelled weird and you would expect for the price it would be so much better but don’t be fooled by all the praise and high price . This stuff is a huge gamble.
So to break it down :
Cost value: 0 stars , a smaller than average bottle that is more likely to damage hair than lift it , and more likely to damage it than even the dollar store shampoos , all for a whopping $30, 30x the cost for twice the damage.
Scent: 0 stars , Idk where these essential oils they claim to use are but it smells like a jumbled mess of chemicals with a whiff of the least complimentary scents they could find. it smells like a feline puked catnip in my hair , thanks.
Volume: 0 stars , unless you count the frizz caused by this as volume , and I dont . I think my hair actually looked flatter, but that may be because I had to add leave in conditioner to heal the drying damage it did. I did take note of the lack of volume PRIOR to adding anything else though.
Hair health: 0 stars , my hair was much healthier , shinier , softer and less broken and dry before using this. Is it obvious I have big regrets yet? Im not even prone to dry hair and damage, I dont Use hot irons or curling irons etc.

I hope My terrible experience at least can help warn others.

I’ve been using this product for years and I like it volumizes my hair and gives it a shine. The smell is kind of minty and refreshing. It’s a little more expensive than some other shampoos, but it’s a great quality product worth the price.

  7. lovetodecorate

75 yo have fine hair and was losing it… have used Aveda in the brown bottle, along with matching mouse for years, but then discovered this type, switch and it works better for my hair. It’s expensive but well worth it. *** My order was lost. Hopefully, I will be reimbursed.

  8. Bette G

Leaves my hair nice and full. The scent is faint and I wish it would feel minty when I shampoo. However you don’t need to use much to get a good lather and my hair seems a little thicker. It is pricey. I have already reordered
