This is a game changer!!! Before I bought this comb I had the other twist it comb that comes in one size. I love how with this comb the 4.0 that I can choose from 3 different sizes. I use it in both of my boys hair and the curls come out very defined. Especially when I use the small hole size. I know some people are saying that it doesn’t work but I promise you it does!!! You just have to find a styling wax or gel that works best for your hair. With my boys I get their hair slightly wet with a spray bottle and then I use the Twist it Up red hair wax and sometimes gel if I don’t have any wax. Then I just work the wax or gel into the hair till all the product is off my hands and then I go in with the comb and move it around in circular motions till I get the desired curl I want. I attached some before and after pictures of my boys hair for reference

It works well! As an engineer, I appreciate the design and the craftsmanship. My hair is over 8″ long, and I bought this to style my hair when it isn’t braided. I like to let my scalp chill for a week or two before I get it braided again, and my thick, coarse hair looks a little wild at times! Hoping this helps it look cool(er).
The only issue I had was with my hair getting snagged in the modular lock points. I’ve managed this for now by putting tape over them, but plan to design and 3D print a more efficient cover soon.
**Updating my review from 4 to 5 stars, cause I just threw away the curl sponge and saw how many hairs it ripped out of my scalp. Glad I switched!

I love the company but this version feels a little cheaper than the standard version. I like that it lets you choose the size of your curls but the prongs on the side can snag your hair if you’re not paying attention. The standard version is a more smooth and polished product. Overall I’m ok with it though.

I like this product. My hair is very short and it gave me a twist/ curl pattern. I love the various inter changeable combs, they are easy to change out. Easy to clean, and the handle grip is easy to hold. Makes your twist or curls stand out! This product set has everything you need to make your hair look like you went to a professional, but you did it yourself. It will save you time & money. If you like curls or twist on natural hair, this is your go to kit!
