In my opinion, Wahl clippers are the only ones to use. They are well made, precision clippers. If they are taken care of, they will last a lifetime. I have used them in the past and their quality is still the best.
This set comes with everything needed and packaged in a nice soft case.
The hair clipper plugs in the wall and feels heavy and solid – not cheap and plastic-like – and comes with many attachments and accessories.
The little trimmer uses a single double-A (AA) battery. There are no extra attachments for the little trimmer in this set, but there are some available on-line for beards.
The cutting head on both the clipper and the trimmer are precision ground and sharp – no pulling or snagging hair.
Be sure to follow the directions and lubricate the heads as directed each use to keep them sharp and cutting correctly.
I give myself haircuts more often than I used to see the barber. Considering the price of a haircut these days, it paid for iteslf quickly. I use the little trimmer for sideburns and touch ups.
If you’re nervous about giving yourself a haircut, the instructions included in the set is very well written and if followed, there should be no problems.
Just remember: the difference between a bad haircut and a good haircut is about a week to ten days!

Didn’t score battery life because I used only the clipper that has a power cord. That was all I needed. There are a whole lot of attachments for the larger clipper that would obviously be helpful to someone who is cutting hair all over the head – my use is to shave down a thick beard so I don’t use them except for the combs which are very helpful, sturdy and useful. The cape or apron is very large which I like, very thin which I don’t like, and the hook & loop strips on the back are in an awkward place and I found it very difficult to fasten them, and not very well, so that they came apart while I shaved. I’ll have to work on improving my skills with that, or just give up. The blades are very sharp and will stay that way, I’m sure, if the unit is up to the usual Wahl stuff – I had an earlier model for nearly 55 years before the motor gave up. As to the battery powered unit it would be more than great if it came along with a stand so that I could set it upright and take less space. I would use it to fine tune the beard until it was time to use the powered unit. Overall, I’d recommend it for others: maybe a friend or family resident could help fasten that apron.

As a licensed cosmetologist, who does ALL hair services for free, having a reliable but not expensive set of clippers is vitally important. The large clippers are wonderful; I’ve done about a dozen cuts since receiving them, and each “review” (I always ask for their input) has been glowing: no pinching, no pulling, no pain whatsoever; too, they love the end result of their haircuts. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the trimmer seems a bit less than optimal in its performance. I may have to purchase a stronger one. I love that it’s battery-operated for ease of use, but it’s not as strong as needed on a few of my customers.

Es una maquina para cortar el cabello muy muy buena, lo primero es que es de la marca Wahl y de por si esa marca es muy buena, te incluye un pequeño maletín o maleta para que puedas guardar ahí tu equipo de corte, también incluye dos peines, su cepillito para limpiar, su aceite, los peines de corte y las dos maquinas, la grande es algo pesada pero lo normal, se siente de buena calidad por el peso y los materiales construidos, y la delineadora menos pesada y esa se usa solamente con una pila AA, vi que a alguien le toco una usada o que tenia residuos de pelo, en lo persona me fije en eso y no venia así, esta totalmente nueva y sin ningún pelo.
En conclusión es la mejor maquina de cortar pelo no profesional que he tenido, la uso para cortarme el pelo yo mismo y me encanto (CABE ACLARAR QUE NO HACE NADA DE RUIDO), la recomiendo si buscan una alternativa bueno, bonito y barato, el precio por lo que te dan vale la pena.

Both the trimmer and clippers work great. I started cutting my own hair and these clippers do the perfect job when it comes to both shaving, trimming,or fading hair.Only thing I would change about this product is for the trimmer blades to be slightly longer but performance wise it is great. The power on both trimmer and clipper are fantastic and I would highly recommend this product for someone starting to cut their own hair.
