Stopped blow-drying my Type 2 wavy hair straight this summer, and I’ve tried several products to encourage and hold the curl. This product line (DevaCurl) is the only thing I can recommend. I have fine, thick, hair lightly layered to the top of my collar, and this product is perfect for me. It was recommended to me by someone I met at a party who had beautiful curls. I took off one star for value for money because it is PRICEY (but it works!) and one star for scent because I don’t care about scent. Although it has a nice, light scent.

this is my 3rd or 4th purchase of this great product. It provides very nice curl definition.
However the shipping packaging was absolutely horrendous. The product was dropped down in a thin plastic shipping bag (white exterior, gray interior) 5-6 X’s bigger than the Curl Cream with NO padding, NO bubble wrap, NOTHING to protect the product. The lid came off & Curl Cream was glopped all over the container. What a mess! Your shipping “cost cutting” measures are a definite FAIL!

I love this curl tamer. It keeps my curls together and prevents frizz without giving that crispy, crunchy 80s wet perm look that I do not like. It looks soft and feels nice.

This is a really great product to use to lock in the curls. I use the entire line of products, this one is useful after the gel and a light diffusion (when the hair is still a little damp) by scrunching it in. It help the curls hold for longer and smells nice.

I love Deva Curl products and the Supercream is great for my curly hair. It has a very light pleasant smell.
I am unhappy with the packaging. It came wrapped with some strong super grip tape to reduce any leaks. Unfortunately when you take the tape off to open the cream it leaves a clear sticky residue over the entire container. I will use Goo Gone to remove it, but it is such a nuisance that I’m taking a star off the rating.

My hair exploded into mega curls. I don’t consider my hair to be curly, at best it has waves. I washed my hair left it wet put 2-3 pumps on my hand massaged Diva Curls in. I then put a shampoo towel on for about 30 minutes or more. When I took the towel off I had lots of waves. Do not touch your hair and let dry. As it drys the waves turn into beautiful curls. Do not touch your hair until totally Dry. Once dry, lift hair at the roots and fluff.
