Update – 5/20/23 – I just took a few inches off my hair and this comb still works. I’ve found over time I use a lot less product so it is definitely worth the price. I showed this to my barber and he’s ordering one now. I love how it doesn’t break or damage my hair. I’ve tossed out my curling sponge.
I don’t know what kind of hair voodoo this is, but color me impressed! I’ve been using a curling sponge for a month or so, and it’s worked well, but I’ve worried about how long it lasts. This curling comb does the job and it’s so easy to use. It’s worth the price tag because it’s sturdy. The directions are straightforward too. I don’t know where this bad boy was hiding, but trust and believe I’m hooking my barbers up with one of these. Not only that, but I’m supporting a Black-owned natural hair business. Don’t sit on the fence, get one now!

This thing worked like a charm. My son is excited every time we use it on his hair. He is like a new man well a new 10 year old I would suggest this for anyone trying to figure out what to do with that nappy hair that kid wants to keep but does not want to necessarily comb every day. Read the instructions does not work well with super wet hair or if the product is in it before you do it. Put the product in after.

I started growing my hair out a bit on the top and was using a sponge to get a nice curl. As my hair grew longer, I was finding it more and more difficult to get the sponge to do it’s magic. Then, I found this comb! Other reviews talked about how it makes twists that are more like locs and that’s exactly what I was looking for!!
I love that I can use it any time. I ride my motorcycle often and used to have to wet my hair a bit in the bathroom at work to use my sponge to “fix” my curls… now I just use this comb (without any water) and my hair looks fly and fresh in moments. I also love that I’m not carrying around a big sponge in a plastic baggie (to keep the moisture from getting into my backpack.
I love this so much, I purchased a 2nd one to leave in my backpack permanently!

Easy to use and gentle on hair. Hair product does not get absorbed as with twist sponge. Twist are more uniform.
Would have liked to have either a smaller size racket or change strings to get smaller size twist.

This is a great , durable and easy to transport product. I like the way it can be transported. I would argue however that the sponge does give better more natural looking curls as it can be used when hair is wet. This is good if you have more 4cish hair . Overall not a bad product but I would also keep a sponge as well.

Its compact, lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to use, and it’s perfect for creating twists quickly without pulling or damaging hair. It is very easy to clean, making it a convenient tool for daily grooming. However, it is not that durable. The one I bought snapped into two after few months of use.

The comb does EXACTLY what is says! Its great for curly to kinky hair and instantly provides a more defined texture. However, the two plastic halves came apart within 1 week of use. I has already used the QC code provided with the product for a 1 year warranty. However, I was unable to submit a claim as the website provided no instruction on how to do so and there was no CS number to contact. When i went back and checked mu warranty online it said it was only valid for one week! I could not receive any assistance! I ended up using a super glue gel to reattach the two plastic halves. I was successful but the inner metal grid (the twister) is loose and spins around. Surprisingly it still works pretty well but with the metal grid spinning, it makes it a bit harder to use.
