I recently had a 12” haircut and donated my hair to wigs for kids. This hair curling brush is just what I was looking for to get my new shoulder length hair under control. The brush has 3 temperature settings and I chose the factory setting because my hair is non color treated or curly.
The bristles are so comfortable to brush through the hair and doesn’t tangle when you twist your hair when curling. I really like the results of my hair after using this product. I do recommend using the hair curling brush.

This is one of the best purchases I have made for my hair. I condition my hair after shampooing and then blow it dry. My hair is color treated, has some natural wave and is shoulder length. After I blow it dry, I use the heated brush to finish it off and it takes no time at all. It doesn’t take long to heat up at all and it’s ready for use. I just smooth out the ends going around my head with six twists of the brush and I’m done. My hair looks shiny, it’s soft and there is no frizz. It has three temperature settings and I use it on the hottest one and I only need to hold each curl for 5 seconds. It’s easy to fasten your hair around the roller and it has a place to hold your finger on the end of the roller making it easy to do. The brush has both hard and soft bristles which I really like and it does not tangle or leave a lot of hair in the brush. I like it better than a straight iron and I believe it’s easier on your hair. I haven’t yet tried to do all over curls, but that would take longer since you would need to do a lot more wrapping around the brush than what I do for everyday use. I will probably try that when I have more time. It doesn’t get extremely hot so I’m not certain how it would work for curling the hair, but I think it would be better for your hair than a curling iron. My hair feels soft and not damaged at all with everyday use.

This TYMO thermal brush heats up to three temps and doesn’t get so hot that it burns dry hair. There is no air blown – just the heat – and this styling tool is used on dry hair. I usually add a hair serum that is light and doesn’t drench my hair for protection before using heat on my hair.
This brush comes with instructions and the way to change the hear setting is to press the on button and hold for two seconds to turn it on, then press the on button again for .5 seconds to toggle through the heat options.
There is a 30 min auto shut off that is really important in our family as stuff gets left “on” all the time.
A lot of these type brushes just end up tangling my hair – especially when the stying is on dry hair. This brush doesn’t have the little nubs on the bristles that I usually look for, it has these shark fin like bristles in between that help release the hair so it doesn’t get pulled. The ceramic barrel of this brush also reduces the the likelihood of frizz and pulling.
I found the photos and videos to be spot on for this product, otherwise I would have added my own. This brush is best for loose curls. Overall I like this 1.7 in diameter heated styling brush – although similar brushes, with a variety of barrel size options, can be found at a lower price point.
The thermal brush is made in China and is relatively good quality – although not as posh looking as other brushes. I do like that this TYMO brush arrived ready to gift to a friend. Overall a decent thermal brush without hair drying capabilities – and I was able to get bouncy soft curls with he addition of a good hair serum. It looked like I had just had a hair blowout, in minutes with this styling tool.

My hair looked like I had just left the salon. I don’t wash my hair more than once a week, but even though I knew it was dirty, I still got compliments. The brush isn’t removable, so product buildup is inevitable. I’ll have to figure out how to clean it without damaging the brush, which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

This is a curling iron with brushes, It doesn’t dry your hair very fast, only dries what you put in the curling brush and it takes a long time to dry. I had to use my curling iron afterwords to style my hair.
