Space lard potato –
I have mid-back length fine, combination curly and wavy hair. It is prone to tangles, puffiness and getting weighed down near the roots (because of how fine it is). I tried this on a whim, not expecting much, and I love it! For me it works the same whether I apply it to damp or dry hair. It seems to work to refresh curls when the hair is already dry. I don’t need very much, maybe a quarter size amount. It does not get stiff at all. And it also doesn’t get greasy or heavy, even with a few days between washes. I’m not sure if just rinsing my hair gets all the product out, but it seems to. The texture is nice and the smell is awesome! I’m normally not a fan of sweet smelling products but this smells like lemon cake in the best way possible, and it’s not overpowering. The product is not tested on animals and also pretty inexpensive for quality hair care. I will continue to use this and would recommend trying it.

Smells amazing. And does the job. Leaves hair super soft and bouncy with no grease and frizz. Wishing the leave in conditioner would smell the same but sadly it doesn’t

It’s my first time to try this set, but already, I’m in love with the scent!. It’s obviously not salon quality, but it leaves my hair soft, so I’m happy about that. It’s a very good price, so if you don’t want to spend a lot, I would recommend this product line.

Very curl friendly, and lives up to its name 🙂 Very good for the price because it comes with all three items; the curl cream, shampoo, and conditioner! It smell is amazing and I’ve gotten so many compliments on how good my hair smells! Lemon meringue flavor is definitely the way to go!

I have naturally wavy/beachy curls, but struggle to get definition without frizz and crunch. Typically without crunchy, stiff products, my curls loose their luster. I just used this Cake Curl Set (Curl Girl Shampoo, The Curl Next Door Conditioner, and The Curl Friend Curl Cream) for the first time last night and am already obsessed!! Super hydrating & thick shampoo and conditioner. I don’t typically use curl creams because they are too heavy and make my hair feel nasty the next day, but not this one. It is perfect! This is next morning hair out of bed in the pictures!! The products smell amazing, and my hair feels incredible and my curls looks gorgeous!! Like I’m ready for the beach 🏝️ ladies! I highly recommend. Super simply system with great results!! I’m a minimal product kind of gal, and this set fits me perfectly.

This stuff is amazing! It smells great and leaves my curls soft and bouncy. It’s not heavy so curls aren’t stiff and weighed down. I apply it to damp hair and allow it to air dry, then I scrunch the curls. It makes my hair look great! Highly recommend!!

I lightly add it to my towel dried hair, combing through with my fingers and then I scrunch my hair towards my scalp. I just use this as part of my after shower routine for my wavy hair, so I’ve only let my hair air dry, but I’m sure the results would be nice if I blow dried with a diffuser.
Texture is light and doesn’t weigh my hair down either.

It does define curls. But the smell of the shampoo and conditioner is awful. It smells like a mix of bubblegum and playdoh. Also when my hair dries it feels waxy and not clean. The leave-in cream smells like a salon which is nice but I still can’t get past the smell of the shampoo and conditioner.
