Very light smell, not overpowering. Hair feels light and clean after I use it. My hair stylist recommended this to me because other shampoos left too much protein, this one didn’t. Isss good

This company is reliable, affordable, and trustworthy. I’m very picky and have spent thousands on diffrent hair products. Tokyo from Nature Labs is the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used. It’s simple ingredients and easy to use, the scent isn’t overpowering, and it does what it says like volumizing or moisturizing. I can go on for days. If you’re hesitant about shampoo, give this a try you won’t regret it.

The shampoo and conditioner smell very good and florally. They also provide great oil control and somewhat dry out your hair. I was interested in this product because I have very oily hair that requires daily washes. That being said I think the product worked a little too well. First starters, it made my hair dry to the point where it’s very straw like and hard to comb through. The conditioner smells like perfume and feels soft and hydrating on your hand but once you put it in your hair it like evaporates. It does not make your hair silky or soft at all like normal conditioner does. In fact in makes it even more tangly because it dries it out more. Usually when you use conditioner you can just comb through your tangles in the shower but this made the tangles worse. BUT since I was so satisfied with how dry (instead of oily) this combo was for my hair I decided to keep using it to reduce the amount of washes. However, now my scalp has become soo dry to the point where it’s itchy and red. Not to mention it is so much harder to brush through my hair now because it’s dry and straw like. My hair is not soft at all. For reference, I’m Hispanic with medium thickness dark hair. Maybe this works if you use it like 1-2 times a week but i definitely would not recommend anymore than that.

I admit it….I bought it because I missed going to Japan for hanami….so I saw the bottle, pinkness, and Sakura sent….so I bought it. I did not expect to like it, but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased by the results. It is great for my over processed and anemic follicles🤗. 🌸

I have used the Tokyo Labs Smooth shampoo and conditioner during the winter months and loved it, so I decided to give the Volume shampoo and conditioner during the summer.
I like it! It’s a little drying, and I do notice some minor airy volume, but the conditioner definitely does nothing to detangle my hair. The scent is nice too – relatively light and feminine.
I also appreciate the shrink wrapping for shipping! There was no mess, as the pumps were secure.
Would definitely recommend!
