This is a good set of hard water shampoo and conditioner. My city has very hard water, and it makes my hair dry and weighed down. This works about as well as other name brand hard water shampoos and conditioners that I have tried at bringing my hair back to normal. The shampoo takes a minute to lather up, but eventually it gets sudsy and does a good job of cleansing my hair. The conditioner leaves my hair soft and feeling healthy. After I use this set, my hair is shinier and more lightweight. Both the shampoo and the conditioner have a light, floral scent. It’s not overpowering, and it doesn’t linger in my hair after showering.
Since hard water shampoo is designed to remove buildup from the hair, I find it can be drying to use too frequently. So, I use this set once a week, and then I’ll use a more hydrating set of shampoo and conditioner in between. My hair has been hydrated and healthy when following this routine. This set also does not affect the color of my dyed hair, which I appreciate. I’ll definitely consider getting this again when I run out, because it has worked well for me.

I am not a swimmer but – the water here in the city is very hard. We get calcifications on pipes and appliances all the time and I know it’s not good for the hair either.
I have naturally wavy hair but living in the Southwest part of the country where it is really dry, except during the monsoon season it is more difficult to handle. Waves and curls need humidity. I have been using a different shampoo which is also clearing all the harshness that comes from the water, and I can tell the difference when I use it vs any other shampoo.
So, I wanted to try this chelating shampoo and conditioner to see if I can feel a difference between this one and the other one, I was using. Now, I have not used any conditioner before and that makes a difference in the ease of managing the hair when it is wet, but that alone doesn’t help with the frizzy hair. Other than that, I can’t say that I notice any other improvements or benefits. I had hoped that it would help with the frizziness of the hair, but it doesn’t affect that part of the problem. I will continue using it, because I need to do something to counteract the hardness of the water and for that I think it does help.

Works well. This product lathers up pretty good, and makes my hair feel nice and soft and manageable. When using this shampoo, my hair doesn’t tangle up on the ends, this helps to maintain the color of my color treated hair, and this shampoo makes my hair feel squeaky clean. I would buy this item again it’s worth the money spent.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the INFINA ESSENTIALS Chelating Hard Water Shampoo as part of the Amazon Vine Program. While this product is usually pricier, it’s worth the investment. The shampoo has a subtle, pleasant scent that adds to the overall experience. In terms of performance, it effectively cleansed my hair, similar to what you would expect from a clarifying shampoo. However, what sets it apart is that it didn’t strip my hair of its natural oils, unlike other clarifying shampoos I’ve used.
Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely it lathered, which is rare in sulfate and paraben-free shampoos. This feature made the cleansing process more enjoyable and left my hair fresh and rejuvenated. Overall, I was impressed with the product and would highly recommend it to others looking for an effective yet gentle shampoo.

This chelating shampoo is amazing and has completely transformed my hair. It also falls into what I call the “more isn’t necessarily better” category.
The first time I used this shampoo I noticed that the weight of my hair felt much lighter. I have long hair down to the middle of my back and it typically has a weighed down look and feel that has become normal. After using this shampoo my hair actually has some volume and feels airy. It’s also smoother and has more sheen.
I wash my hair every other day. Two days later I used this shampoo again and while my hair still looked good, it was noticeably a bit dryer as was my scalp. I decided it’s best for me to only use this once every 2-3 weeks, maybe less. I think it depends on your circumstances and what your hair is exposed to on a regular basis. I do swim quite a bit in the summer but I’m not spending hours at a time in the pool like someone who swims for sport. Our well water is a bit on the hard side so that’s a factor for me but it takes some time for the minerals to build up. I don’t use any styling products or tools on my hair. I only shampoo, condition and air dry.
This is the first chelating shampoo I’ve tried but I have used others that are meant to clarify and remove buildup. This Infina Essentials shampoo is by far the best one because it has actually produced noticeable results for me. I would definitely recommend it but I do suggest experimenting with how often you really need to use it. Otherwise you may experience some negative effects.

This shampoo athers well and cleans hair very effectively. It did a good job removing buildup and my hair felt lighter afterwards. I fell like my hair would be stripped if I used it too often so I’m using more as a maintenance and won’t use more than every other/every several shampoos. I did not have any negative reaction to the shampoo.
