After reading the reviews, I was skeptical about the new Neuma Texturizer…and the reviews were correct. It’s not the same. I found it to be thinner and less tacky. Went on “wet” and heavy, had a hard time building volume. My husband uses it too, so gave him this and I ordered the Neuma Texturizing Nectar. It had more of the light and sticky qualities that work on my short style. Not totally happy with it, but better than the new texturizer formula.

I have been using the Neuma Texturizer for years and loved the way it tamed my short curly hair without stiffness, yet provided definition and hold. I recently purchased the new packaging and am extremely disappointed that the formula has been changed. The new Texturizer is heavier, greasier, and seems to leave a film on my hair, making it untouchable. It’s actually gross. Plus, they raised the price. 👎🏽

I like the product. It’s the best I’ve found. But I’ll keep looking for something else. Why? Because it costs $33 for a 3.4 oz tube and I believe that’s an unconscionably high price.
