I’m not very experienced with purple shampoos and haven’t tested many out. But compared to the Violet Crush by Marc Anthony this one is superior.
I’m not sure if it preserves the silver colour in my hair because it faded quite quickly (as silver does) but I do remember that after using it for the first time my hair was more vibrant and VERY soft.
The scent of the shampoo is in the middle. I’m not sure how to describe it but when it first comes out it’s super purple and has a mild smell. Once you rinse it out, you barely notice it at all.

I use this product a couple times a week to cut the yellow tones out of my hair. It doesn’t smell like harsh chemicals, nor does it stain my nail beds like some purple shampoos I’ve tried. I shampoo it in, let sit for the duration of my shower, and rinse when I’m done. My hair is brighter and very silky after every use.

I’ve been using this for years on my (now) mostly white hair (it may be the wrong color, but there’s lots of it, which I consider a minor triumph as a man). It’s perfect for getting rid of that yellow tint that all white hair seems to take on after a month or so. Just don’t use it too often if you don’t want to look like a blue-haired old lady.

It does what it’s supposed to but it really dries your hair out, not even my conditioner mask can revive it after use. But it really gets the brass out of my blonde, I look platinum/white after use and that works for my Elsa cosplay.
