I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos–probably at least 10 or so of them. Despite being one of the most expensive, this one has the distinction of being the worst one by a wide margin. The most basic function of a dry shampoo is to absorb oil, and this one fails miserably at that task. I sprayed a small amount in my hair, and I saw no difference at all. So I continued to use more and more, to the point that it felt like I eventually used a third of the bottle. At no point did the product absorb any oil in my hair, nor did my hair look any better. In fact, it just gave my hair a sticky, gunky feeling. If I’m trying to find any positives, I can say that it doesn’t have a strong odor and it did not leave a white residue in my hair. Redken clearly accomplished the latter, though, by not having enough ingredients to actually absorb any oil at all. So what’s the point in even using it? This product is so bad that if it did not say on the bottle that it’s dry shampoo, I would have thought I was using something totally different (perhaps a hairspray). I don’t know how Redken can even call this a dry shampoo. Save your money and buy something else.

This is one of the pricier dried shampoos I have tried. I have purchased at least a dozen different brands to try over the last few years. I was willing to pay more to test to see if it was truly invisible and unscented. I use this product mostly during the summer months when I’m outside a lot. I hate bugs and don’t want perfume smells to attract them. I’m also allergic to many fragrances. This product was completely unscented and residue free. A little goes a long way. I only use 5 quick sprays. Another note is that dry shampoo works much better to keep oil away when hair is clean or next day after washing hair, rather than waiting several days when it is already very dirty. I will keep purchasing this product.

I’ve tried quite a few dry shampoos and Redkin is the best out there. I have thinning hair and its adds volume at the roots. This dry shampoo has changed the game. It’s saves me so much time and energy doing my hair. I highly recommend this product. You’ll love using it and wonder how you have gotten along with out it for all these years!

I wanted a dry shampoo with 3 qualities: it works, it doesn’t have some god-awful “fragrance,” and it doesn’t leave white residue on my brown hair. This does all three. It’s a bit pricey for the container size, but I typically don’t need to use too much. I can stretch a wash and blow dry for one to two days with this, even when I work out/get sweaty.

EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED.

I really think this a great clean product. I use dry shampoo frequently so finding clean ingredients is important to me because some ingredients irritate my scalp like making it itchy and flakey. I love that this product has zeolite in it which is detoxifying. HOWEVER, I think for the price it’s not sustainable for me to buy on the consistent basis for how much dry shampoo I use. If price doesn’t matter for you then totally recommend!

Tbh the previous version of this product was a 10/10. Yes it had the white residue but it was easily removable with a blow drier. This product doesn’t really leave your hair feeling clean. It still feels greasy but adds product on top making it feel heavier / dirty.
Plus the size is half of what it used to be. Big fail Redken. It doesn’t worth the money

This not only removes excess oils but gives your hair volume! I love it and highly recommend!!!
