I’ve been on the fence with nioxin but I’ve had a ton of breakage recently. I switched away from it for a while and immediately noticed a difference in my hair for the worse. I switched back really quickly and now have seen my hair strength improve. The minty smell isn’t overwhelming and the bottle lasts a fair amount of time.

My mom used Nioxin for years when she had Breast Cancer. And it worked so great for her. She grew all her hair back. I have used this for years to keep my hair healthy, shiny, and strong. Only now after only 1 round of chemo-3 months out-so much of my hair has just literally slipped right off of my head. I noticed my scalp has become as they say it does after Chemo-very very sensitive! I honestly am not sure if this is Too Strong for me. It causes my scalp to break out in tiny little bumps! This is probably not good. Plus, this particulat product was really expensive in my opinion. Currently, I took it out of my rotation for use until my scalp gets better. I DO have a serious form of Cancer so I’m not sure if this product isn’t a good choice if someone has Cancer?
