  1. Cool Spot

She seems to like it – it lathers nicely and makes her hair feel clean. I gave it a try too, though I’m not the target audience for this product, and it worked just fine on my hair too. Overall though, she didn’t notice any difference in her hair vs other shampoos from the store. And with the big price tag on this product, I don’t think it’s worth it.

  2. Stingingfork

I love this shampoo. The first time I used the shampoo and conditioner I used Goldwell #4 styling mousse Thinking that I needed volume. The second time I used the shampoo and conditioner. I used no styling products and my hair was so wonderful. My hair is full and light. I have Gray hair that is thinning, but the shampoo has given my hair new life.

  3. Janet B

Love this shampoo. I like that the nozzle is easy to get the product out without having to pick the bottle up or fiddle with opening the top/lid. Makes my hair soft and management and cleans the scalp. It doesn’t have a particular scent to it, which is okay. This will last me a while.

  4. PumpkinSpiceCrazy

I like the way this shampoo cleans my hair. It has a very light floral scent that dissipates quickly. I do have to use a few pumps in order to have enough shampoo.

With my wife being in the “Winter of her Youth” and her hair has been thinning to some degree due to a particular med that she has been prescribed to take for an Auto-Immune disease but when she saw this advertised on Amazon she liked the positives mentioned that it consists of Volumizing, Hydrating and promoting Hair Growth so she asked me to order a bottle. I cast doubt on whether it can sufficiently promote hair growth when her hair is not thinning due to just aging alone but why rain on her parade until she uses up the entire bottle, and who knows I could be all wrong with my assumptions since I’m not a physician. Since we just received it yesterday via USPS she used it for the first time last evening and really liked the slight foral scent that was imparted from the shampoo, and even though her hair is fairly short she stated it took several pumps to work it into a sufficient lather to cleanse her hair. The manufacturer recommends after shampooing that you follow up with their Primehair Luster Conditioner but I didn’t know to order that so she used her professional salon grade conditioner and it worked well with the new bottle of Primehair lush & thick shampoo. I instructed her, per the label on the box, to squeeze her hair with her absorbent towel versus scrubbing or rubbing her hair dry with the towel and unless you add a heat protectant to your hair they recommend that you don’t use a hair dryer.

Now my wife doesn’t mind spending money on a good product, as I stated earlier that she uses Professional Salon grade shampoos and conditioners but she stated that based on the retail price of this Primehair shampoo and conditioner being $4.14 per fluid oz. for either and the bottles only containing 8.4 fluid ounces she couldn’t justify that cost unless she saw that it would truly promote hair growth with continued use. At the moment her salon grade shampoos and conditioners are no where near the price per ounces of these products and her bottles generally contains 3 to 4 times the product that are included with these Primehair products. But as I mentioned earlier if she sees this shampoo actually promoting new growth then she would re-think the cost issue. To me based on the quality ingredients contained in the Primehair shampoo I will only lessen the overall rating by 1 Star due to what we consider it as being overpriced for the amount received but that is a choice that each purchaser will have to make based on the promised results as stated on their conditioner’s Amazon sales page from Primehair (The deep repair, renewed hair growth, and lasting volume are evident in 2-3 weeks of diligent use)!

So far so good. Using to try to reduce shedding of my hair.. very subtle fragrance♥️

  7. Margaretrose1

This my second order and love this shampoo.

  8. Annabelle Suleiman

I recently tried this thickening shampoo, and while it does a great job of cleaning my hair, I was hoping for a bit more thickness. It lathers nicely and leaves my scalp feeling refreshed, and I have noticed some added volume in my fine hair. Overall, it’s a decent option, but I wish it delivered even more on the thickening front.
