I purchased this with low expectations being that my daughter and I have natural 4c hair that we jokingly refer to as “can’t cha, don’t cha” hair—can’t you comb it & don’t you try. While it’s not true that we can’t comb our hair, it’s so thick & long that friends & family are amazed by the texture & products we use.
Cost – I believe that you get what you pay for, so I didn’t let cost sway me away. Being that the results weren’t great, I don’t think the price point is correct. They should lower the cost or improve the formula.
Moisture – the product isn’t a complete fail. It has a nice scent which is always a plus in a hair product. I used a lot of the product to actually moisturize my hair, and that was short lived. The product is creamy in my palm but sticky in my hair. The moisture didn’t last & my hair looked very dry shortly after application. The same was true for my daughter’s hair. I really wanted this to work, but it doesn’t seem so. I want to try Tracee other products before giving up, but I currently get better results from other products so can’t move to this on.

I have low porosity 4c hair and I’ve tried absolutely everything and this definitely was my Roman Empire for hair. This worked so well I had to use little by little to savor it because of the price. My twist outs were amazing and my hair stayed moisturized.

This is not my first time purchasing this product. I typically get it from Ulta, but was happy to see it discounted for Prime Day! I have low porosity Type 4 hair and this product does well with moisturizing my hair. It absorbs well with other products so it’s easy to use. I do wish the price wasn’t so high, but it’s a nice size jar.

What the advertisement touts is 100% true, my thoughts. It’s a quality product that promotes softness & locks in moisture until next wash. The lasting scent is sublime. I used on loose twists style on natural hair. The results were soft smooth & frizz free loc’s with sheen.
3 days later…using a tiny bit of product I rolled groups of twist with perm rods, let set, took down & untwisted to about an inch or so from scalp & Voilà a whole new style…fluffy & bouncy, lux natural curls. 😍☺️
