After purchasing two of these and using daily (one more often than the other), I still like this product, but want to describe a few ‘bugs’ that caused me to lower my rating. First, be aware that the scrunchies are the first to Go. They lose their elasticity fairly quickly and the wrapping gets harder. Of course, they can surely be replaced, even in satin, but likely not matching. The big issue is that the product’s stuffing is not battened by stitching except at the very ends/tip of the curler. Over time, the stuffing tends to bunch at one end, and it is impossible to reposition. I mean, you can try, but it really doesn’t work. This leaves a “fat end” on one side, so your curls will be affected on that side, i.e., the fat side straighter; thin side curlier. You must from time to time pull and straighten the curl rod. But nevertheless, it gets shorter and less functional. The one I’ve used more often can no longer be twisted back and the two ends joined at the back of the head. It’s more Pippi Longstocking now, which also somewhat affects the curl and body results. This product, while fairly awesome, needs some serious tweaks to last and be cost effective. I am disappointed, but continue to use. I’d love an *improved* version!
This product seems to have been made with my hair in mind. It has been 100% amazing for my hair style and type and at 24$ has made all my expensive hair devices obsolete. I actually have my hair in it for about 3 hours in the morning. I don’t sleep in it! I decided this might work for me because previously after washing and styling, the rest of the week, I have been kind of loosely twirling my hair and clamping sections with hair clips while I go about my morning, workout, bath, put on makeup, etc. Then, comb it out and use some serum and light oil for texture. It occurred to me that this little device might provide an enhanced version of that technique, and I was more than correct. I roll it up with the Robe Curls and proceed the same way, however, when I do the styling my hair is beautifully waved, smooth, shiny, and full of body! Incredible body! I love this thing!
All this said, people’s hair and experiences can be very different, I know. My hair is slightly past shoulders, fine, and has some natural curl that wants to be a tight wave, not curl, that can get frizzy. I like a longer, looser wave than I can get naturally. This Robe Curls does that and somehow also infuses my hair with body, swing, and shiny smoothness. It might not work like this for everyone. For me, it has been miraculous!

Im really bad at curling my hair. This takes me a minute to put in my hair and 30 minutes to set. I just blow dry my hair, put the band in, drive to where I need to go and take it out. BAM great curls.
If you have super straight hair that doesn’t curl when you put it in a damp bun, this probably isnt for you. You need to have a good hair type for this kind of thing.
Also the quality of the band and hair ties is great.

I had very low expectations for this item, but was really searching for a way to add some curls to my fine, straight hair without using heat or taking hours out of my day struggling with getting the perfect flat iron curls, all going in the same direction. On the days that I got my flat iron curls looking halfway decent, they would fall flat within about 3-4 hours. I figured for $20 and the few minutes spent installing the satin wrap thingy with the wire inside, then going to sleep, I didn’t have much to lose. I read a few reviews and some instructions on some other similar devices and took it from there. Could not believe how easy it was. The one thing that I added that I feel really helped was a claw clip in the center of the satin wrap clipped right on top of my head. It allowed me to be able to wrap my hair around the device without having to hold the whole thing in place. I used this by just sectioning off my hair in 2 sections (right & left) and I also did it by sectioning into 4 (2 on each side). Doing the 4 sections got me more curls and with the curl part starting higher up on my hair. Just sectioning into 2, it was still very nice but the curls were more isolated to the lower parts of my hair. After sleeping in my Curl Robe (very comfortable, did not disrupt my sleep at all), and took it out in the morning, I was flabbergasted at the beautiful curls that remained!!! Even when I didn’t do a light mist of hair spray, the curls still lasted all day (summer in South Florida, humidity much)??
I am extremely happy with my Curl Robe and would recommend to anyone whose hair is at least shoulder length or longer. Cannot speak to how well it would work on anything shorter. You really don’t have much to lose and beautiful, healthy looking curls to gain. Give it a try!!

I like this product! most important it works!. It needs practice, I have to put a hair clip on the top of my head so it stay in place during the application. It did not bothers me during the night, actually it helped me to sleep on my back better! I woke up with beautiful curls. I will keep practicing. !I recommended it!

I have tried several kinds of heatless curl techniques from the original round rods to Kitsch curling rod sticks and nothing is as good at Robe Curls! They give you gorgeous waves and curls and it is so comfy to sleep in! The company also has great tutorials for different types of hair and styles. I would recommend this to everybody!

I had low expectations for this, having just used the “pool noodle” kind, made with hard foam. But I was blown away!! I have big bouncy curls and I went to bed with my hair completely dry. It was so much more comfortable and the wire in the curler made it so much easier to use. 10/10⭐️

I have been attempting the scrunch and diffuse life for about two years now hoping my curls on top will take better form. I’ve tried everything. Some hair days were good, others not so much. I have also tried a lot of the different heatless curling options like the rods, pillow rollers, etc. none of them were comfortable for sleeping or took too long to put in.
Enter this perfect hair gizmo stage right. Comfortable, fast, easy— and beautiful results. I really was hesitant to buy and try yet another thing. But this has been perfect.
My only complaint isn’t a product complaint. I have thick hair, so when I roll up damp hair at night, it’s not fully dry by the morning. I have better luck when I wash and roll my hair around noon on a Sunday- rock the up-do type look, and unravel Monday morning. Those few extra hours help.
