I usually dry my hair with a round brush kinda straight. If I scrunch a little (little!) bit of this on my ends, I can wear it curly. It’s great! If I DON’T use it and try to scrunch, I just end up with a bit of a frizzy mess. Ha!
This was my three-star rating comment: **If I use just a very little bit, this is pretty good. But it can make your hair greasy pretty fast. I only put it on my ends.

I love Hairstory’s New Wash and thought the balm would be a great addition to fight frizz while maintaining my hairs natural wave. Unfortunately, it feels too heavy on my fine, dense hair and leaves my hair feeling limp.

I would characterize my hair type to be fine with a small amount of natural wave to it. I have to be careful with hair products weighing down my hair. I also have to be careful about them making my scalp oily. This product was pointless. It feels like hand lotion before I put it in my hair and the smell was extremely pungent. It weighted my hair down just a little bit. It did not make it very greasy. But it did nothing for me. My hair would be better off with no product in it. It did not help with frizziness. It did not help with my little bit of natural waviness. It did not help with anything. I saw an ad for this and was really hoping it would be a great product. So I bought it on Amazon so it would be an easy return if it was worthless and it was. It really bummed me out. Hope this helps someone else.

I have long spiral curls. I wasn’t impressed by this when it was humid, but now that it’s fall and drier I love it. Great curl definition.
Wish it smelled better though, but that’s what perfume is for.

I wanted a product that I could put in my hair for curl and not have to fuss with or use a blow dryer. This did the trick. It seems to work better the more I use it and try not to control it.

I absolutely love Hairstory’s hair balm. At least my hair always feeling soft but not weighted down. I can literally go 3 to 4 days without washing my hair but still put some of this on my hair every day while I’m styling it and it never builds up. The smell is amazing. I am able to Mold pieces of my hair anyway I like to And easily change up the style day after day
