Made in Korea. Like with lots of other dry shampoos I’ve tried, it seems like I have to choose between having greasy hair or looking like I have dandruff. Although this does seem to absorb the grease, the powder is light colored which doesn’t pair well with darker hair. I did end up getting it to work by using minimal amounts and very thorough brushing. Unfortunately, it still leaves what looks like dandruff that is a lot more noticeable due to the contrast in color. Comes in a plastic jar that is difficult to open without accidentally spilling powder. I do like the applicator sponge that is attached to the jar. The jar is reusable so this will be nice to fill with my own dry shampoo once it’s used up. Has a light scent to it that isn’t too overpowering/ noticeable.

Review: AROMATICA Rosemary Dry Shampoo Powder 10g/0.3oz

First off this is a small amount for the price! Secondly, it requires a bit of working into the scalp to help it blend. I have very dark hair and even aerosol ones requires me to work in the powder left behind but this was like loose powder on my scalp. I had to work the product into the scalp for it to fully absorb which took me a fair bit. Smells alright but when my hair is gross, I appreciate the heavy perfume of an aerosol dry shampoo. Product was not bad but not for me.

I love this little dry shampoo pod- it’s so easy to use to touch up on the go and I do t mane a mess with it. Absorbent and smells amazing.

I have tried every big name dry shampoo and this one is phenomenal.

Application: I use it the night after my first shampoo and I didn’t have to wash my hair or reapply for 3 additional days! For someone with fine and dark hair, this blended perfectly just being lightly brushed out with a wide tooth comb in the morning.

Scent: light and clean, has an herb-y undertone. Doesn’t bother my sensitive nose and feels high end unlike cheaper versions. Barely there and doesn’t overpower perfumes or lotions.

Note: just be careful with opening the upper compartment, and store it upright when possible. A little powder might come out but nothing compared to the powder shower you get with aerosol sprays or even the manual ones (like klorane).

This dry shampoo has some good qualities.
    — It is a great size for travel.
    — Smells nice, it has a good scent.
    — It works and gives hair a cleaner look
    — It has natural ingredients.

    Some less than ideal points:
    — The container is extremely hard to open. I couldn’t open it & had to have someone stronger do it for me. I don’t know if it’s all containers but mine was stuck.
    — It’s pricey – very little product for the price of $20 at the time of this review. Feels like a sample size.
    — It can be messy & waste product when applying.
    — 3.5 stars (mainly because of the container.)

I’m actually surprised to see that people are complaining that it doesn’t work for their dark hair. I had other dry shampoos before that definitely looked like I sprinkled myself with flour, but this one was actually decent. It is a bit hard to open the bottle at first, I even unscrewed the whole thing and got into the powder instead of getting to the sponge. So you have to be careful how you open it the first couple of times.

The powder is very fine, and you just need to tap lightly at your roots in a few spots, and then just brush it through, just like with any dry shampoo that I’ve tried before. My hair is medium brown bordering on dark with red undertones, and this didn’t make me look ridiculous. My hair immediately felt lightweight and not weighed down like it normally does when it’s been a couple of days since I washed it last. I have fine straight hair, and I enjoyed using it.

There’s a very slight fragrance that you don’t even smell once it’s on your hair. It didn’t leave any marks on my collar like some other powders did, and it helped me postpone washing hair for a couple more days.

This is a Korean product obviously meant for korean very dark hair. So maybe that’s why it worked great for my darker hair, but the trick here probably is not to use too much. And you need to make sure to brush it through thouroughly and shake off any extra if you used too much, or if it got on your face or is absolutely visible in some spots.

I am one of those people who still put baby powder in my hair instead of washing it when needed. This dry shampoo powder works much better than any powders or sprays I’ve used. It’s easy to apply. Smells great. Blends easily. You don’t see the powder or any white blotches. Also holds up well in the rain or sweating. This powder is a must-have for anyone with long hair who doesn’t wash daily!

This is really more of a touchup powder as a dry shampoo, and not replacing like a big dry shampoo aerosol or can. It works but it’s one of those things where you have to apply it where you actually need it like the roots of your hair, you don’t spray it all over. You kinda have to work to get this to work properly on your hair. Why I gave this five stars: it’s by aromatica, a premiere Korean beauty brand. They make a great hair care products. It also smells like rosemary and rosemary has properties that are good for the hair. it’s compact, so that I can use this while I’m traveling or if I go to the gym. I don’t have to carry around a big can of dry shampoo or a big case of loose powder, it’s compact, and it has its own applicator built into the device. This is a travel size so that’s why it’s smaller but that’s also the beauty of it. It’s really nice and I do recommend it based on these expectations
