Been a licensed cosmetologist for 10 years. This is only the second time I’ve had to replace a 1 1/2 blade, and I know I use it more than any other size. I broke my 1/8″ #1 plastic guard that came with my Classic 76 and bought this to use without a guard. It gives about the same cut as using the guard and makes my beard look better than using the guard.

I needed a new clipper blade and I did’t want to purchase an aftermarket one. I always use an OEM blade.

Beware! My customers hair being ripped out and stabbed. The very top of the blade is razor pointy sharp! I compared this new one to the original one I have it’s a little longer and way more pointy. Every head that I used it on jabbed their head and pulled the hair. I ended up taking it apart and keeping only the screws and inner area. I threw the whole thing away.
