I really like this conditioner. I have grey hair and I like how it tones down any brassiness and also my hair is less frizzy since using it. I don’t however, like how it stains the bottom of my tub lol

I bought to try on my money pieces that are holding on to some copper dye when they are supposed to be icy blonde pieces, I’ve done a few washes in it. Will keep trying but not a noticeable difference yet. Smells like grape juice and keeps hair soft like traditional conditioners.

This product (and the shampoo) are my holy grail duo for my platinum skunk stripe (natural hair is jet black)! It works better than welland T18 chemic toner or any other brand of chemical toner or toning shampoo/conditioner that I’ve tried. Thankfully, I bought this early on so I didn’t waste money on a bunch of toners. It feels luxurious and moisturizing on my hair, and has the perfect pigments for hair like mine that pulls both yellow and orange when bleached. My only advice is not to let it sit too long when using for maintenance and make sure to rinse with cold water. Lastly, both this conditioner and the shampoo smell AMAZING! Not synthetic “amazing” but LUSH “amazing”.

I am super picky with conditioner. In fact, the only daily conditioner I use on my hair is the Redken All Soft Heavy Cream which is meant to be more of a treatment than a daily conditioner but it’s the only conditioner I can actually work into my hair so I can easily run my fingers through it. This conditioner does exactly that. It’s so thick – and I mean heavy, not “thick” like some say and then it just feels like conditioning with water. And the scent smells like… like crushed grapes off the vine in your backyard- not the kind you really eat but the ones that fall off the vine on the trellis. And it helps combat brassinsss especially if you use it with the shampoo or purple foam.
The only thing I would say is it’s really dark (which is the point I know!) so just get it off your hands and quickly and rinse down your walls and shower curtain after use.

I love this conditioner and have bought it twice now. It really does keep the brass away. It also helps to keep my color more vibrant between salon visits. It’s more than I would like to pay for a conditioner but since this stuff really does show real results I’m much more willing to repurchase. I heard from my hairdresser that the purple shampoo is really good too so I can’t wait to try that one next.

This is a very harsh product for your hair. It is in fact pitch black. It does help with platinum hair. It is not a value for the money. It provides no moisture, dries out your hair and strips it.

This is the first time I’ve ever even heard about black pigmented shampoo and conditioner for toning hair. When I saw it on here, I instantly added the shampoo and conditioner to my cart for purchase. It was like Christmas when they finally arrived. They work so well to tone stubborn goldish/ red tones from lightened hair, especially if your goal is to get to that platinum, silvery whitish type shade of blonde. I would suggest just being careful and testing it a little first. I know how hard it is to get my hair to tone and I use heavily pigmented violet and purple toning shampoo/conditioner/masks on my hair when it’s DRY for long periods of time before washing out and have good results , but that’s MY hair. I have bleached highlights that I get done but I choose to tone myself personally bc I’m never happy with the way it comes out at the salon. This product works wonders for that.
Will absolutely buy again, and already have actually.

This has been the only product I have found that takes the brassy-ness out of my highlighted hair. We have well water and my hair turns orange. I use this product about once a week.
