Living Proof is an amazing brand and this product does exactly what it says it’ll do. Scalp feels refreshed and clean and best of all, no greasy roots. Yeah it’s pricey but you get what you pay for!

I found this product to be incredibly effective! Firstly, the nozzle makes it easy to apply evenly across my scalp. 5 minutes of application time was all it took to see results. The smell is not overpowering. My scalp felt significantly cleaner, and my roots were less greasy. I no longer experience scalp itching or buildup. I found that the results last between 1 to 2 washes, which means I go through the bottle fairly quickly.

The scalp scrubs are so difficult to wash out of my hair, and I have always found this more hassle than they are worth, but this product does the same job but without all the stress.
It feels great on my scalp and works quickly and helps my hair so much with my weekly wash days.

Every time I see my hair stylist, she says I need to exfoliate my scalp more. Plus my hair is on the greasy side, so I was excited to try this product. Sadly, I am disappointed. It did seem to reduce oil on my scalp at first, but by week 2 my hair was getting more greasy than usual, and getting there faster, too. The product didn’t seem to exfoliate much, either. For the price, this product isn’t worth it.
Plus it ruined the skin around my cuticles for a week! I wore gloves for my first application, but took them off for the rinse. I figured the water would dilute the product enough that it wouldn’t act on my hands. Not so. My cuticle areas got so dry and uncomfortable, and I got a bunch of hangnails and peeling skin that still isn’t completely healed weeks later. Wear gloves for the rinse, also, ladies!
Crazy about Chihuahuas –
After using some products to give my hair volume I was left with a very sticky build up that wouldn’t go away. I used this Product and I could tell a difference on the first wash. I applied it to my dry hair at the roots and left it for a few minutes. I think it did a good job. I did however end up using it a total of 3 times to get rid of my buildup. I must say my build up was BAD to the point i had a very itchy scalp. I am pleased to say this removed it and my hair is thankfully back to how it was. This product works. The other two times I used it on wet hair. I also used a chelating shampoo while using this. Good product.

Helpful with removing buildup in hair! My daughter uses a wax stick several times a week for her slick back hair styles. This helps clean up her hair and scalp.

This product has been great for my sensitive scalp, and I think it has the potential to be a game-changer for maintaining box braids over the summer. The applicator tip makes it so easy to use. Normally, my scalp can get very itchy, but since using this, I haven’t noticed any itchiness at all. My scalp doesn’t feel either too dry or too greasy, and there’s no flakiness. I also really appreciate that the scent isn’t too strong, and that the product didn’t cause any irritation or strip dye from my hair. My only complaint is that the bottle doesn’t specify how much to use.
