I have thick, frizzy, curly hair. This helps to calm the frizz but also helps define my curls without the “crunch” that other products have. I have used FOB products for several years and this is one of my new favorite product of there’s. It has a great smell without being overpowering. This product also have great clean ingredients.

This dimethicone-free Function of Beauty product worked very well for me. I’ve used it a couple of times now and am very pleased with the results. I applied this to wet hair and raked my hair with my fingers, use a couple of root clips at the roots, then let my hair air-dry. I had nice, bouncy curls in no time, and with very little effort. Using this product did not shorten my hair quite as much as using some diffusers. My hair was shiny for the first day, but as the curls started to separate, I lost a bit of the shine. Incidentally, the curl cream did not make my hair crunchy, yet did define the curls and cut out almost all the frizz, which is not an easy task in Florida in the summer.
This has a pleasant, non-lingering scent. It did not come with the add-ons. I might add one to see how/if the product results change.
This comes as a set of two small bottles. I really hate the huge bottles at home, but I also worry about all the plastic waste with two bottles. How about a refill instead of two bottles? I think the price is reasonable compared to other products I have used.

My hair is long and thick and even though I use some products for curl and frizz its either nice curls for one day or until I go outside if its a hotter day since we have so much humidity. This combo before using the products seems to be the missing piece to the puzzle for my hair. It cleans my hair and scalp without stripping my hair from what it needs and then the conditioner adds more of what my hair needs to keep my curls during the high heat and into the next day as long as I wear my hair over my head at night.

I use it on my way hair to Make them look curly. This adds nice curls. Shine to my hair and eliminates frizz. I love that it comes in a pack of 2. Worth the money. Definitely buying again.

Function of Beauty curl creme defined my curls. I used it on dry frizzy hair because that is always the true test for me. The curl creme added a ton of moisture to my hair. I have fine 4A textured hair. The curl creme penetrated my hair, and softened my hair. It created spiraled curls in my hair. My hair was not greasy and did not feel weighted down by product.
It did a better job at defining my dry hair than most other products I have used. My hair was not crunchy and did not have a cast. I had a flexible hold. I did not have to use any other product with this curl cream. It had enough everything in it, including oil, conditioners, humectants and holding power. It worked more like a combination of a curl creme and a hair gel in one single product.
I received two 7 ounces bottles. I used a fair amount from one bottle, so I don’t expect a bottle to last more than a month if you use this product weekly or daily. The bottles are small. The ingredients are not all natural, but I was not concerned about any of the ingredient. I was happy to see this curl creme is dimethicone and silicone free.
The curl creme has a light scent to it. It smells like papaya or guava to me. The smell lingers, but I did not mind because it was so light. I am normally very sensitive to smells in products, and this one did not bother me.
I like this product. I just wish the bottles were bigger. The curl creme works well and different from other curl cremes that I have used. However, I do think $25 is a lot for these two small bottles. I think $25 should get you 24 ounces, not 14 ounces.
