Completely life changing. I’ve had pretty bad dandruff since the 3rd grade and now, at 28 years old, I still suffer from an itchy, oily scalp. I have tried tea tree,
shampoos, Head and Shoulders, Clear, apple cider vinegar, etc. and nothing has worked as well as The Body Shop Ginger Shampoo! No flakes or an itchy scalp after the second use! It worked so flawlessly I almost want to cry!
I will forever use this shampoo until they discontinue it (they better not!)

My husband and I have been using this ginger shampoo for over 15 years … but it’s time to say goodbye to our continued use. We lived near a Body Shop for years, then ordered online while they switched to an online store, but times have changed … and these 2 bottles will be the last. This is beyond inflation, it’s product gouging. Great shampoo … WAY TO EXPENSIVE !!!

Really nice scented shampoo. I don’t need to use a lot and I pre-dilute it with some water to up the lather when I am washing my hair. I’ve noticed that my hair is much smoother and less dry. My scalp is not perfect but is fairing better in the cold dry air. I sometimes forget to use conditioner and I don’t find it necessary when using this shampoo. I can easily run my fingers through my hair after washing and air dry with no issues. At first I thought the bottle was a bit small but you don’t need to use that much of this formula to get a great result. I mix it with water as mentioned before and distribute through my hair with a drip bottle. Then I lather and massage the scalp so that the ginger starts to work and get all tingly, then just a light rinse with warm water will do the trick.

J’ai pendant très longtemps souffert de petites peaux sur le contour de mon cuir chevelu et je ne trouvais pas de solution qui fonctionnait, jusqu’à ce shampooing !
Je l’applique sur mon crane et je le laisse agir durant quelques minutes et c’est un miracle ! J’ai eu des résultats très rapidement et maintenant je ne l’utilise plus que occasionnellement lorsque j’en ressent le besoin.

I like this shampoo. It smells amazing and lathers like nothing I have ever used before. I do see an improvement in my dandruff but it has not had much impact on my children’s scalps which I was really hoping for. I will likely buy again.

After switching to a water softener and filtration system I noticed my usual products (redken) we’re leaving my hair feeling heavy and oily. So I searched online for a list of products that were reviewed as good for soft water systems. This was one of those products. I took a chance and ordered it and I couldn’t be more pleased! This shampoo lathers up so nice and smells absolutely amazing!! After I wash my hair it feels completely clean and refreshed! I couldn’t have asked for a better product! Without conditioner, though, my hair would be too dry from this so just a side note on that. It’s amazing.

Ich benutze das shampoo schon mehrere Jahre. Es ist eins der wenigen Shampoos die meine Haare nicht direkt fettig werden lassen. Es ist zwar nicht ganz günstig, aber man benötigt auch nur einen kleinen Tropfen davon. Daher hält die Flasche auch sehr lange.

I bought this as a kind of last ditch effort. I’ve always suffered from dry flaky scalp and I’ve tried every kind of medicated dandruff shampoo under the sun. I’ve ever tried the trendy “no shampoo” method of using apple cider vinegar to wash my hair (it didn’t work, and I smelled like a booze hound). This stuff works great though; it smells amazing, builds a good lather, and doesn’t fry my hair. I have naturally curly hair so forgoing conditioner isn’t an option, with this though I need far less conditioner to get the same shiny results.

I usually have to change my dandruff shampoo every few months because my scalp gets used to it (even Nizoral doesn’t help), but I’ve used a whole bottle of this one and it was still working. Expensive, BUT the first bottle lasted me over a year (and I have long thick hair), so I bought another one recently.
Can’t claim it will work for everyone the same, but I’m very happy with this shampoo. The smell is subtle, foams very well, helps with dandruff, lasts long time. Thumbs up.
