  1. GDK

Item seems solidly built for the most part, with some decent heft. The dual-voltage as well as included adapter are nice. I got this for my girlfriend to use so what follows is mostly her feedback.

The heated part is pretty small overall and lacks the coverage of some of the other brands. The weight of it makes it a little harder to position. The thing that’s the biggest issue is that it can snag the hair at the point where the heated metal transitions to the plastic. While the small size makes it convenient for traveling, a regular iron isn’t that much bigger. Although this does have the benefit of being dual purpose.

Ultimately her rating was between a 3 and a 4. Since we don’t travel as much and haven’t gone overseas, it’s closer to a 3, but if you’re overseas a lot, it may be closer to a 4. It’ll probably still snag your hair a little though.

This is a beautiful tool to take care of the hairs, at home or when travel. It is flexible to use 110 or 220 volts, and it can be used to curl or flat he hair too, with the heating region around 3 inches long to cover a lot of hairs. These functions make the tool very useful. It has a unique design that the heating devices can be a rod with a outside clap when closed or can be a flat clamp when open. You can make your own selection depend on your own needs. There are two temperatures to select that if you have a hard hair type, you should use the higher setting at 410 F. It is very considerate that this product has a power plug adaptor and a heat-resistant glove.

My daughter lives in the UK and the first time I visited, I took my flat iron and a converter but It overheated and I was left with pictures with bad hair. I decided to get a curling iron that was specifically made for travel and I liked the size of this one. It is a good travel size and is nicely weighted. I don’t normally use a glove it but it is a nice option to have. I can also use it in the states when I travel since it is such a good size. I was thrilled to have better hair pictures on my last trip!

This travel-size curling iron is space-saving and can be used in Europe at dual voltage and varied temperatures. The wand is a bit large for me, but bouncy curls and waves are possible for people with thick enough hair. However, the temperature settings can be manipulated to accommodate many types of hair, thin or thick, fine or coarse, so dealing with the problem may not apply to you. I have thin hair and a lower temp to get a larger wave/curl. The skinnier wands/barrels will give me a lasting, tight curl. With this over-one-inch item, I can aspire to straighten my hair with its flat iron feature; then, I can put a wave or bend into it for a body wave with fullness with the curling iron feature. Doing this will require a bit of skill, but not inaccessible. Heat-styling products can help get a smooth and enduring curl/wave. Also, there is a way to use the flat iron to bend your hair for a different, sleek look directionally. When I saw this is a travel curling iron/flat iron, I thought, “How versatile!” I wasn’t in the market for one. This has different temperatures and is excellent for styling heat-friendly wigs. Hopefully, that covers it.

I have a medium hairstyle and will have a problem trying to style it in a way that I find pleasing. I got a cut with botched sides (ears, sideburns, temples) and too much contrast between the short hairs going into long like a mullet. It is better when your hair is cut so your hair tools can achieve decent continuity, whichever way you manage it. You can mask problems by alternating the curling iron and flat iron functions. I know that some of the best curling iron styles I have seen done with larger barrels have happened on long hair.

This hair tool is a significant investment and worth every penny for its features. While I don’t mind simple hair tools, these make me feel spoiled. It’s a versatile tool that allows me to experiment with different styles, and I can’t wait to see what else I can do with it as my hair grows. I’m sure you’ll find it so handy that it is as helpful and as invaluable as I do.

    Enjoy!

This is a decent curling plus straightening iron. The barrel opens up in two ways to allow for both, as can be seen from the pictures. The iron also came with a glove to avoid skin burns and a power converter for traveling to Europe, which may come in handy. I personally do not use the glove but it may be helpful for some people. The iron is lightweight and is easy to use. It heats up fairly quickly and has two heat settings, although I wish the heat settings were more customizable. It is supposed to auto shut off in 60 minutes, which is a nice safety feature. The iron does an OK job, although I feel like it does not ‘pinch’ my hair enough compared to my old straightener, so I need to use larger strands of hair, which then ultimately decreases the straightening effect. It is still a nice iron to use for travel, as it is light and compact.

The curling iron has been packed nicely in unsealed box. It has some weight to it and looks pretty and well made. It heats up fast. I like it has only 2 higher temps. I usually do not use lower temps ever. The straightener function works almost well. The curling iron part is so so. Honestly, I feel the clip curler part is unnecessary, because you can curl with straight iron much easier than try to use the curling iron part. Also, the clip grabs hair unevenly and sometimes it slips out and sometimes it snags. The barrel is short so you are limited here as well. My brain constantly has been confused with this iron and my hand was pinched over and over with the end of the iron (closer to the wrist). In addition, while I am trying to fight with it I keep accidentally pressing buttons and changing the straightener to curler and the temperature. Everything is happening while it pulls my hair one by one. I guess over time I can get used to using it, but why it has to be so much work and will I have hair left?
