My hair has always been fine and very dry so I was really curious to try Batana Oil. It’s a lot thicker and waxier feeling than I expected and doesn’t spread as easily as the coconut oil I usually use. I tried to spread the paste in my hands and carefully worked it through my hair and let sit for a few hours before washing. I really appreciate that it does not have a fragrance and that it washed out easily even with the mild shampoo and conditioners that I use. The next day I have to say that my hair looked pretty good…not as dry and frizzy at the top, smooth, shiny…and not weighed down by any residual oils. No miracles yet, but I know that this product is meant to be used regularly for the best results and I am looking forward to adding it into my bi-weekly routine!

So like a lot of folks I went on a crash diet… and my hair promptly began to fall out. I’ve searched for so many things to alleviate this situation! I came across this and decided to give it a try. Pleasant mild scent. I massaged it into my hair and placed a shower cap over it. Then I waited about 30 minutes. I then washed normally.
What I found was that my hair was manageable and soft. Tangles were much easier to remove. I can’t speak to more hair growth currently, but I cannot see how this could in any way hurt your hair. I’ll report back when I have more data… but currently, I really like it… and my wife also loves it!

I’m obsessed with Batana Oil so I’ve used a TON of different brands and kinds. This one smells and looks nothing like the other brands. This one smells like coconut oil and looks like colored coconut oil. I put it on my scalp and 2 shampoos later- it’s still on my scalp and my hair looks greasy. The directions say to put it on and rinse it off. That definitely wouldn’t work. I’m sure my scalp is moisturized at this point but I ended up throwing the jar away. Because it doesn’t work like the other Batana Oils that I have.

Batana oil is not sticky it’s more stiff than soft. I had to rub it in between my fingers to warm it enough to go onto my scalp evenly. The scent isn’t very very strong but you can smell it. I saw a bunch of reviews that said they saw results within 3-6 days. I did not I know consistency will bring forth results within 2-3 weeks. It was easy to wash off and was a great hot oil treatment for my scalp. I didn’t experience any itching or shedding when I washed it out I have an itchy scalp and doing 1 treatment a week helped my scalp to stop itching as much. I haven’t seen a lot of growth but I do have a healthier scalp skin.

In battling dry hair/scalp issues along with hair falling out, I saw this listing and decided to try it. It has a pretty hefty price tag but thought it was worth trying. It comes in a small bottle (label says 4.2oz) and what you see in the ad is what you get. The only label is on the lid and the usage instructions there do not match what’s in the listing. I thought that this could be used in a regular hair routine when you apply and then rinse after a few minutes, dry and style as usual. The lid says to massage into your scalp and let sit for 20 minutes before rinsing. Honestly, my care routine doesn’t allow for that extra time and I would prefer a few minutes in a shower! As for the product, it is a pleasant scent and does apply well and rinses out well. It works as a conditioner so my hair combs out easily and looks fine. Maybe more time will tell if it really works on hair growth. Sure can’t see an immediate difference.

I’ve tried other batana oils that make you put your hair under a shower cap for up to an hour. I just don’t usually have time for that. I really appreciate that this can be used right in the shower/bath. Let it sit for 5 minutes while shaving and you’re good to rinse. It leaves my hair soft and silky. Not the cheapest of products, but effective and since you don’t need much at a time, not as pricy as it may seem.

This is not Truth, label looks home made.
