I have always liked Davines products but had never tried this shampoo. I am glad I did, it smells great, almost like spring flowers mixed with a fresh rain smell. It’s fresh, floral but still warm in scent. It makes my hair so soft and you don’t need to use a lot to get a good lather.

This shampoo removes swimming pool chemicals gently and effectively. It is suitable for frequent shampooing – will not damage your hair. It leaves your hair as soft as if you hadn’t been swimming in a pool. Highly recommended for swimmers.

My stylist uses Davines and I have become a total convert. My hair is long, thick, and has s-waves. Because my hair is so dense I can easily get build-up on my scalp, which is also a touch oily. Products that don’t get my hair properly clean also weigh it down and prevent the waves from forming properly. I wash my hair every other day in the summer, every 3 days or so in the winter.
I love this shampoo because it gives my hair a clean feeling without stripping it/drying it out. I don’t understand the no-poo movement because I hate hate hate it when my hair feels greasy. It has an earthy, herbal smell which is not as strong as Aveda products. I could see how it might be a scent you either love or hate, however. It is not a “typical” shampoo scent, which for me is a plus.
I use about a quarter-sized amount. It is sulfate free but it lathers up nicely. It gets my hair and scalp clean without drying or weighing down.

5+ stars–perfect and noticeably clarifying. Smells super great! I have very very thick hair and usually have to use a big blob of shampoo— not so much with this. A little went a long way and it lathered better than any shampoo ive used. Back to order more!
