Similar to a lot of other reviews, the hair clamp/clip part is a little less tight than it could be – maybe? However, if the clamp/clip was any tighter it may cause dents around the top of the hair line. For me, if the clamp were any tighter and combined with my lack of proper technique, I think it may lead to weird dents at my hairline. Overall – this is a great hair tool for all lengths, textures, and thickness of hair types. You can create volume and fullness easier than with a flat iron. Also, because the barrel is so big, it smooths hair faster than with a flat iron. Heats up fast and hot temps of 450 F. I purchased this over 8 months ago – I use it about 3-4 times a week – and it is still working brilliantly!

I really liked the longer barrel in this curling iron, it made a difference with the quality of the curls on long hair.
Cons: Temp control button location, top heavy
There’s one Design flaw, the placement of the heating control buttons. Since the barrel is longer it makes the curling iron heavier which requires a tighter grip so it doesn’t fall out of your hands. The issue is that the temperature buttons end up under your palm which causes the buttons to be pushed and the temp fluctuating accordingly. I have fine hair and need the lowest temp to avoid damaging/drying my hair and found myself accidentally pushing the temp buttons up. It doesn’t take much for the curling iron to get super hot. I personally struggled with this issue and could not figure out another way to hold it where this wouldn’t happen. One other area of concern is the short cool tip at the end, it is very small and difficult to use without burning your fingers. If this tip could be a little longer it would help grab the heavier barrel and if the temp control buttons would be switched so the buttons are coser to the barrel it would make for an awesome curling iron.
Unfortunately for me the Cons determined this is not the right product for my needs.

Heats up great! BUT it’s humongous. The picture above is a 1” next to this, supposedly 2”, curling iron. I bet it’s great for long hair but it acted more like a smoother/straightener on my hair. Going to send it back & get a smaller size. Also, who needs the barrel to be that long? Lol

I have had many different makes and models of hair curlers, and this one is the best I’ve ever had ! It’s really a good one. It’s so well made, not too heavy, has different heat settings which is good for fine hair like mine. It’s a little longer barrel than I’m used to but I’m getting on to it and I think I like the longer one better. This was a little more expensive than the others I’ve had but I believe thats why it’s better made. I recommend it!

This curling iron is PERFECT. It heats up quickly, with easy temperature settings, and has a long barrel which works great for longer hair. It’s easy to use like a wand or with the clamp. As another review mentioned, just be careful about accidentally clicking the temperature buttons while styling. This is a high quality tool for a really amazing price. So happy.

It’s easy to hold, the clamp holds my hair an it doesn’t slide out easily, consistent heat, I accidentally touched it and because it’s ceramic it just bit me but I didn’t have a burn at all lol. I’m very happy with it, it doesn’t frighten me like some hair tools hahah My hair looks great, it only takes me 35 minutes to curl my hair and that’s with me getting distracted a lot. It’s very easy to use.

This is a good iron. Heats up fast and has several heat settings. What i don’t care for is the barrel length. But my fault for not reading g the description better. It is very long. And the cord has to be unwound several times while using it. Gets kinked up.
