The first time I used this, we had just go back from camping. The wind had been blowing the dirt around and my hair was really dirty. I used the shampoo in the bathtub using just a small amount as suggested. Not much lather, but my hair still felt a little bit dirty. So, I washed a second time. There were bubbles everywhere. This normally happens on a second shampoo, but not normally to the extent that this did. My hair got all tangled in knots, and became a huge mess. it was really difficult to rinse all the soap out of my hair. (Note: I do have the matching conditioner, so I followed the shampoo with the conditioner, and my hair still felt dried out).
I personally felt that I had a really bad experience with the shampoo. I wondered if my hair had gotten so dried out and tangled, because I had washed twice. Even after draining the tub, rinsing with clean water, and using the matching conditioner, my hair felt awful.
My hair has been dried out and difficult to style, since I started using this shampoo. I have flyaways going everywhere. However, I am determined to give a product a fair chance. I can say that after two weeks of regular use, and multiple washings, that I do not recommend this shampoo. On the days when I pull my hair up into a hair clip, I do not use any additional products, my hair is still difficult to brush out at the end of the day. On the days when I want to curl it, or straighten it, I found that I have had to use a lot more product than what I normally would use, to get my hair to maintain.
Since I’m not a person who likes to waste things, I will continue to use this until the bottle is gone. If my hair improves, after continuous usage, I will update the review.

The shampoo is clear and thick with a pleasant herbal / floral fragrance.
A small amount is all that I needed to use to generate a nice rich lather that smelled great, cleaned well, and rinsed out easily in our soft water.
The formula is vegan, contains only natural and clean ingredients, and is not tested on animals.
We suggest the vendor post the product ingredients in searchable format so that those with ingredient sensitivities, and all, can make an informed purchase decision.
The stout black plastic bottle is coded for recycling as type 2 resin and has a slightly roughened texture to avoid slipping out of your hands.
The twist-off lid has a built-in press dispenser that closes securely so it’s robust for travel and toting in a bag.
Premium priced when offered at about $28 at the time of our review for a 350 ml or 12-ounce bottle. A good value, though, as a very small amount is all that is needed for a thorough shampoo.

It’s a good thing that the conditioner is moisturizing because the shampoo is very drying. After shampooing my hair feels like wet, baby doll hair and is impossible to comb out. Conditioner is a necessity with this shampoo.

This is a really nice shampoo. It is easy to pour out of container because it is liquidy, but it is still very concentrated. The Amazon page claims that you don’t need to wash your hair a second time with it. One wash and rinse will do it. The page is right–to my surprise. I like the way it leaves my hair. I don’t have color treated hair. But I do have a receding hairline, and I want to avoid harsh shampoos that could accelerate hair loss. This one seems quite gentle. There’s no way to access it without a scientific study, but from my experience with it, it seems to be really good. The only drawback that I see is the price. It’s steep–for only a half-sized bottle. It may be worth it.

I love this shampoo. But the owner needs to make a better lid because it was open and a bunch spilled out in the Amazon delivery bag. Also if I ever travel with this shampoo I have to put it in a different bottle because the lid doesn’t keep in the product.
