What is there not to love about this Overcare Hair Botox treatment?! The product comes in a huge tub (34oz) and is a great value at $29. Using 1-2x a week this should last a long time. The product itself has a lovely scent. I applied it as directed (shampoo, towel dry, then apply this product from tip to roots). I let it sit for about and hour and when rinsing out I could feel already that my hair was very smooth and conditioned even while rinsing. Combing through my hair was easy and not tangled as usual. I just let it air dry and typically with no other product, my hair turns into a frizzy mess because it is naturally wavy curly. After using this hair botox and allowing my hair to air dry it was pretty manageable and smoother than normal. I am loving this product and would definitely buy again!

Based on searching for what is hair Botox? the hair industry has adopted this term for a hair treatment that conditions and coats hair with fillers like keratin and collagen to repair damaged and broken hair fibers.
Now down to the product itself, What is OVERCARE Botox for the hair ? It feels conditioning even on my hands. It is a very thick rich dense cream. The product shows it is 34 fluid ounces. It is heavy. It weighs 37.2 ounces based on the product and the container. On my hair, it feels amazing when I am working it through. The directions say to start at the ends and work towards the scalp. This felt backwards so it took a bit of tapping my head and rubbing my stomach to get my brain to do this. I did mange to accomplish the requested technique. After 30 minutes I rinsed my hair with warm water as instructed and let my hair air dry. The softness and the overall look are totally amazing. I am also thrilled with the size of the container and the amount needed to make my hair feel this good. It is suggested 1-2x per week. I feel like this will last me 6 months and the price at the time of this review is $29.99. The product is a total steal and would still be a deal at $39.95. My Rating is 5 Stars

The only two ingredients to hit the icky list on incide coder. Methylisothiazolinone (MI) is a preservative that is super efficient against bacteria at surprisingly low concentrations. This should not be considered in a product that is designed as a leave in conditioner. It is to be expected in rinse off shampoos and conditioners.
Alchol Denat. It’s a super common skincare ingredient
It has several benefits: great solvent, penetration enhancer, creates cosmetically elegant, light formulas, great astringent and antimicrobial
It can be very drying if it’s in the first few ingredients on an ingredient list. Experts have varying opinions on this ingredient.

I got this for a Vine product review because, as I’ve mentioned in the past, I like trying out hair products.
PROS
* giant container that will last a long time
* nice pamper product to use as you sit and relax since you put it on and leave for 30-60 minutes
* very easy to use
* will last a very long time
* considering how large the container is paying $31.99 for it is worth it!
CONS and why it lost one star
* too scented.
* not well sealed and leaked out of the container in the box….this was not damage from shipping, this was the actual paper seal inside beneath the lid is not glued down enough to ensure no leaks while in the box. You can see the conditioner stuck to the box in the picture.
Nevertheless, I recommend this product. Between the size, the affordable cost, and the treatment to your hair it is so worth it!

I have been having some serious hair issues lately, primarily due to hard water and the weather. My hair has been dry and lifeless, either falling out or breaking off. I decided to try this “hair botox,” and I am so glad I did! I washed my hair, applied this product as instructed, and left it on for about an hour, putting my hair up in a towel to help trap some heat. I rinsed out the product and could feel a difference immediately. I allowed my hair to air dry almost completely, then used a hair dryer to style it. The result was soft, shiny, and healthy-looking hair. The price might seem steep, but you get a generously sized jar (it reminds me of a jar of mayonnaise), and it is well worth every penny!
