I received the travel size bottle therefore was only able to get a few washes out of it. The product has a nice light scent, but I felt I had to use a larger volume of conditioner to get the desired results compared to my regular product. After rinsing and blow drying my hair was noticeably softer and shinier.
I have not used the product long enough to confirm the company’s claim on improving scalp hydration or reducing flakes. I am skeptical on these points as the product has no active ingredients proven to fight dandruff. If you are looking for an anti-dandruff skip this and see your doctor for better options, but if you are looking for soft shiny hair this is a good option.

I have only used the Moroccanoil Scalp Balancing Conditioner a few times but have found it to be a nourishing, yet lightweight treatment. My hair is very fine, so it is a struggle to deal with the occasional dry scalp for fear that a conditioner will weigh down my hair. This did not and in fact, it rinsed out well while still leaving the moisture behind. I recommend.

This conditioner is amazing. I love Moroccan oil products and needed a new conditioner so got this one to try out. It has that classic Moroccan oil scent. It is so rich and moisturizing and makes my hair feel and look so shiny, soft, and frizz free. I love how it moisturizes my scalp too and for me, it reduced itching.

I’m already a big fan of Argan Oil for skin, I’ve been using it for over a decade as my primary moisturizer. I know that it’s very good for hair as well. I took this travel bottle of the Moroccanoil on a vacation this last week. I was very pleased with it, especially as I was washing my hair more than normal (we were at a lake, and I don’t like to leave lake water in my hair). My hair felt soft and moisturized even with daily washing, and on one day I even forwent shampoo and just rinsed and conditioned my hair and it still felt great, not goopy at all. Overall very pleased with this conditioner.

The moroccan oil conditioner worked really well, nourishing my hair well. It is a nice thick conditioner, coats my hair well and was easy to rinse out. I have long hair, all the way down my back, and this is one of the few conditioners I have used the I can brush my hair completely without out some tangles after I used it. It smells a bit like tea tree oil products, a bit earthy. The bottle is a 2.4 ounce bottle, so very small. It makes for a good travel sized bottle of conditioner and may not last very long. For me, I will get 3 conditions out of this bottle.

This is a great conditioner and the combination with the shampoo left my hair feeling amazing! This product I loved as a set. It was a refreshing feeling using it and I feel like my hair is well conditioned.

⭐️ 1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.
⭐️⭐️ 2 stars – I don’t recommend it, it has multiple faults, or is not priced where it should be for the product.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars – It’s passable. It has some faults, but the quality is adequate for what it is.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars – Product quite acceptable; it does what it promises.
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – Product that I totally recommend.

As someone with dandruff I normally avoid putting any conditioner on my scalp and instead use harsh products to keep my flakes away and wait for my hair to grow out to condition it back to normal. This conditioner helps keep my roots looking great and my scalp feels so fresh and happy with this! I just massive it into my scalp after my shampooing. My roots are less frizzy and the rest of my coarse thick hair really likes this conditioner but I think I will keep it just for my scalp since this bottle is quite small and I have a LOT of hair. Overall this is worth the cost.

I ordered this for my daughter who has naturally curly hair. Recently, her scalp has been getting dry and flaky. My daughter has quite a few products from this brand, Moroccan Oil, so I was really excited to order this for her. The Moroccan Oil scalp balancing conditioner did not disappoint. My daughter used this one time, and her scalp already looked and felt much better. At the time of my review, this conditioner is selling for $26.00 for 8.5oz. This seems expensive; however, this is a premium luxury brand with high quality ingredients. It is definitely worth it! I also really love the scent, it smells great, and you can smell it in your hair after for a long time.

This Moroccanoil Scalp Balancing Conditioner works great and helps to eliminate dry, itchy scalp and dandruff flakes. I tend to use this during the winter months when I often get an itchy scalp and a mild case of dandruff from wearing a thick wool hat. I use it twice a week between regular shampooing and find that works great for me. It helps to nourish and moisturize my scalp, eliminating any itch and flaking.

This conditioner has a rich, creamy texture and smells amazing, just like all Moroccanoil products do. There’s no medicated smell like there is with other dandruff shampoos or conditioners. It’s easy to use and you don’t need to use very much of it. Just apply 2-3 fingertip size drops to your wet hair and thoroughly massage it into your scalp until you feel it’s completely covered, then and let it sit for about two minutes and rinse it out.

The 2.4 oz travel size bottle is quite a bit more expensive than the regular 8.5 oz bottle, but it’s easier to travel with and does last me quite a long time because I don’t use it every day, so I’m giving this a highly recommended and 4.5 out of 5 stars.

To preface my review, I have itchy and dry scalp with the occasional flaking. This conditioner is not hydrating enough for my coarse and frizzy hair ends, but it is perfect for my scalp. I’ve been using it as a co-wash for the past 3 weeks, twice a week and just after the first use I noticed a significant decrease in itch. AND I have been flake-free since then.

It’s creamy and has a pleasant herbal-y scent that does not linger. If you’re like me and want to know what I do: I rub some between my palms before I massage it onto my scalp in sections. Then I’ll let it sit for a few minutes before further massaging with a scalp brush. I’ll wash it off and apply another conditioner from my mid-shaft to ends. Rinse, dry and then I’ll apply a pump of Moroccanoil’s treatment oil to my ends.

So far this conditioner has really kept my scalp happy and itch-free, and I definitely intend to keep using this and re-purchase when I’m out.

I’ve just been using Moroccanoil products for a short while but I’m already a huge fan. This conditioner is fantastic, and pairs perfectly of course with their scalp balancing shampoo. It’s got a nice creamy appearance and wonderful (but subtle) scent, and leaves my hair feeling very clean and looking good. I have noticed a reduction in flaking and itching since I’ve started using these products and I highly recommend checking them out. Very pleased.

Moroccanoil Scalp Balancing Conditioner is pretty good. There’s nothing wrong with it, but I think I had very high expectations. My scalp does tend to get dry, and it doesn’t feel dry and itchy after using this. It’s okay for my curly hair, but I’d prefer to have a more moisturizing conditioner. Curls tend to need extra moisture. Using a leave-in after this helps me with that. The smell is okay – it reminds me a little of black pepper? That’s probably due to one of the herbs that I don’t know the smell of well enough to recognize it. The scent doesn’t linger anyway once you rinse it out.

Speaking of herbs, I’m very glad that Moroccanoil didn’t add any of the ones that I’m allergic to that are commonly used in hair products, especially those that are meant to target the scalp. It can be difficult to find scalp soothing conditioners without tea tree, mint, lavender, or eucalyptus, all of which feel like burning on my skin. So thank you for that, Moroccanoil.

I got the set, both smell medicinal but the conditioner adds a mild scent that covers up the medicinal smell. Bottom line, they work on scalp flakes and build up from styling products. I saw results by 3 washes

  13. PJ

I received the Moroccanoil Scalp Balancing Conditioner. I had never before tried products by this brand, so I was eager to see the results. First thing I noticed, I loved the scent of this conditioner. I’m someone who is sensitive to certain smells, but this scent was almost nostalgic. It reminded me of fresh limes or something citrus. The ingredients do contain lemon balm, which could explain the scent, but I didn’t have the same impression with the shampoo, which also contains lemon balm. Either way, the scent really appealed to me.

I found that this conditioner was a little thinner than the other hair conditioners I typically use. I think this makes it easier to use because it spreads better through my hair.

Overall, I found this conditioner to be good and I loved how my hair felt afterwards. Even the day after, my hair still felt freshly washed and conditioned, which I don’t typically get with my regular shampoo that leaves my hair a little oily the next day. However, are these results worth the price? I’m not certain. It would really depend on expectations. 4.5 stars

Note that I tried this product along with the Moroccanoil Scalp Balancing Shampoo.
