This product was fine, but the hold wasn’t as strong as I expected and also the smell was overbearing. Just a sickly sweet floral smell that was way too much. Be careful of using too much protein on your hair as well, I learned from this experience.

Je l’avais acheté pour coiffer et mettre en forme mes ondulations. Il y a un gel dedans et le leave in est trop riche en soit donc il alourdit mes ondulations et elles ne sont pas belles. Cela dit il sent divinement bon et plaque bien les cheveux je l’utilise donc comme gel. Un peu déçue vu le prix du produit..

My hair type is slightly curly and this works perfectly for my hair. It has given me naturally occurring corkscrews which I love!
I apply it while my hair is still wet and crunch it into the hair while protecting the curl shape. Then just leave it in as I let my hair dry (I don’t use hair dryer but according to the comments it seems that it also works well with heat). It doesn’t make my hair cruchy at all like styling gels does. The curls still feel soft to the touch.
Perfect addition to the curly hair routine if you are looking to add protein!

I tried the Curlsmith cream in the orange container and did not like it at all. It tangled my hair, left it dry. I went back to the one in the purple container and it makes a HUGE immediate difference. No frizzies, defined SOFT curls. It’s expensive but worth the money… my curls last for DAYS. I’m done buying anything else.

I’m not sure what to think about this product. I don’t think it only depends on your hair porosity only as they said. Because my hair is highly porous and I cannot use it twice in a row without my hair feeling stiff and dry. They say the protein is so low it cannot imbalance your hair but I’m also not sure about it.
For me, I use it more as a treatment in the form of a styler. When I feel my hair is less bouncy, I’ll use it once even though it’s not as effective as their bond repair.

I have another hair styling product from Curlsmith but it’s a 1 on the hold scale. I was looking for a little more hold for those humid days, but not too much. I like my hair to look soft. My curls are spiral-like, but my hair texture is fine, so too much hold doesn’t look natural. This product not only gives my hair extra curls, but it stays looking soft. The smell is the best part though! It’s sort of fruity and citrus, but very light. The consistency is like a cream, but a little bit liquid. I am glad to have found this product!

I’m new to the curl game and this is the 3rd product that I have tried. So far, I have used this one the most because I like the way that it feels the most. I have wavy hair that has gotten wavier as I have gotten older (or maybe I use better products now?) and I am trying to embrace this new phase. I have used this product for about a month and it is easy, which I like! I put it on when my hair is still pretty wet, attempting to evenly distribute it throughout. Then I blot and scrunch my hair up with a towel. From this point I have both air dried and diffused my hair. I have gotten the most curl when using this on the second day. I got my hair wet (not washed), added a little product and then diffused it- it was incredible!
My only complaint is that this product has a strong and lasting scent. It isn’t bad- but it can be overwhelming at times.

Leicht zu verarbeiten, der Duft ist angenehm, der Preis ist schon ordentlich, aber auch das ist nichts neues für Lockenköpfe. Da ich von allen Haarstrukturen etwas habe, mag ein Teil meiner Haare die Proteine sehr gerne, ein Teil aber nicht. Dafür kann aber die Creme ja nichts 😅

I have wavy, textured, frizzy hair. This cream is one of the only products I’ve tried that tames my hair and keeps it that way all day. My waves are maintained and they don’t appear crunchy, or greasy, or wet – just soft, pretty waves. The scent is of this product is pretty nice too.

I have been letting my hair go curly for nearly 20 years and have mourned the loss of several products over the years that worked well with my fine, bleached/color treated waves and curls. THIS one is a winner y’all! I have been so impressed with just one use. I have a lot of tangles due to how fine my hair is, so I always brush through it with conditioning using a Denman brush. I kept it sopping wet, applied the first layer, raked my hands through (tangles!) then used the Denman again to distribute and untangle it. I added another bit of product to scrunch my hair and WOW my curls saw definition I haven’t seen in years. The last few years of highlights have really taken a toll on my hair and no gel or foam that I’ve found has done what this product does. It’s a winner and I can’t wait to try it with the bouncy foam I also purchased!
