I was able to achieve what I wanted with these texturizing scissors. Having an area of my hair that grows in thicker than other ares these scissors keep it even.
Takes some getting use to in handling, I have small hands.
I tried using thinning shears awhile back, did not like them as the blades are closer together and pulled my hair.

They didn’t cut smoothly. I’m a hairdresser and bought these just taking a chance. I usually spend $500-$1000 on my shears, but I was just curious. I thought it would be nice to find a cheap pair that I could recommend to clients who cut their own bangs (they all do it at some point lol). Not going to be recommending these.
