This product was recommended by a curly hair specialist. It is working great for me and helping me embrace my curls. I love that the scent is not too strong, which is key as I am sensitive.

We just started using products in my daughter’s wavy/curly hair. She’s wanting to embrace the curls more now than ever. This cream has made a huge difference in her curls and defines them so well! It doesn’t leave her fine hair with any residue and it’s really easy to use. It dried quick after application and didn’t feel crunchy like some other products leave her hair feeling.

This is a decent hair cream. It definitely does a good job activating curls when I air dry my hair. It is kind of a thick cream, but not too bad to apply. The scent isn’t bad, not necessarily my favorite but it is light, doesn’t smell bad and doesn’t bother my allergies with a heavy perfume scent. My hair is still soft and doesn’t feel stiff and crunchy after it dries. I have a couple of products that I like better than this one, and don’t cost $30 for a container.

I have thin, 3C curly hair and this DevaCurl CurlHeights Volume + Body Boost Cream does seem to help with curl formation. However, I don’t like how it feels when it dries. My hair isn’t as soft as normal. It dries up somewhat crunchy which does get better if I keep touching my hair. However, it doesn’t go back to feeling natural until I wash this product out.

I have been using Devacurl products for years and thought I would try this new one. I love it!! My hair is curly, but a little thin and it gets weighed down easily with heavy gels and creams and often lacks volume. If I don’t use a gel or cream it is frizzy. I have been using CurlHeights for about two months now. My hair has volume and fullness, which it lacked before. It also is shiny and not frizzy. I don’t use a lot of it and I have not found my hair to be crunchy. I think it looks natural and shiny with nicely formed curls and a flattering fullness. It has made a world of difference.
