I highly recommend it. I first purchased this on Amazon a few years ago after finding an article about it on a website about curly hair. ( I have naturally curly hair that I have been fighting all my life.) This leaves my curles nice and soft and does not strip my hair like regular shampoo usually does. It tames the friz a bit even. (I also use this brands conditioner.)

The only shampoo/cleanser I will use in my hair! I have very curly hair that gets tangled and dried out by traditional shampoo but cowash doesn’t seem to do much to my hair. This cleanser has been a total game changer for me. The formula actually cleans my scalp without causing dryness and doesn’t make my hair feel brittle either. The tingly sensation makes my scalp feel ultra clean and is very soothing. There is a light peppermint scent to this but it is not overwhelming. I use this in my son’s hair as well and it leaves his hair soft and easy to detangle. I’ve been using this for nearly two years and I have not found another shampoo that performs as well as this.

Somehow the pump on both the cleanser and the conditioner are broken. I didn’t lose any product but it comes out strangely. I like how my hair and scalp feel though. I have smaller flakes just with the first wash. I didn’t use anything more than the cleanser and the conditioner and my hair is soft, shiny and curls are still popping. I just don’t know if I need to wash and conditioner every other or every two days or longer. Oh, well… I will find my sweet spot.
