I wanted to write such a positive review but can’t it does not cover the gray. Yet I love the color and the way my hair looks but I would not use this product again because it defeats the purpose. I followed the instructions to the letter.

I bought this to help cover the grey hair I have Im only 32. It work d amazing. Other hair dye I would have to dye my hair every month with this I only have to dye it every 3 months. I love the protection it has for your air. My hair wasn’t dry like before. I love it!

Been buying Clariol Defy for years. I started going gray around 35, and now 20 years later, and still feel too young to go all natural, this has been great. First, very easy to use. Instructions are easy to follow. Every aspect is well packaged. The only issue is maybe better gloves, but I just swap out with my own. Once have gloves on, do a test on scalp. This is a must, because some people may have irritation. The pre conditioner, which has a nice scent. The mixing of color and chemical is easy. The bottle is good dispenser to spread on hair. For as much gray as I have, suggest leaving on for 45 minutes. I do not get a lot of “highlights” but color is not flat, nice shine. Conditioner is perfect for my hair. Works well at softening. The color lasts me about 3 to 4 weeks , but a lot depends on your rate of growth, and how often you wash your hair. I also have very curly hair so not sure how much would show on someone with straight hair. I have used this product for years and have been very happy. Will continue to buy.

This is a very easy to use product. It’s supposed to be used for people with older hair. There is a pre-treatment packet that you put on your hair before you put the color on and that’s supposed to protect your hair The color is very natural everybody thinks that my hair color looks very nice like it was done in the salon I haven’t done my hair in a salon in years now I do have a hard time sometimes locating this product to buy It seems like it may not be in production anymore and that sources are running out but I’m not sure about that But I tend to buy multiple at a time just to make sure
