  1. Me

I love Living Proof and this is a great set to use to try them out. The conditioner and dry shampoo are especially nice for my curly hair. Not overly heavy. Smells fantastic.

This is a 3 piece travel set so the price is a little steep but the brand is also professional so you are paying for good quality. This shampoo and conditioner lasted about 7 washes and I have long thick hair. The dry shampoo worked for about 5 uses. This was perfect for when we were going away for 2 weeks with the family. I did notice my hair felt very silky and soft after each shower and didn’t get tangled easily. The dry shampoo didn’t leave any residue in my hair. I put it in at night to let it soak up any oils and then touched it up in the morning. I really did like this set and would highly recommend it.

I know this is advertised as a travel kit, but I also feel it would make an awesome starter kit for anyone who is interested in trying out the entire line on their hair without fully committing to more than $100 worth of product in an attempt to decide if this will work for you. I’ve been using the living proof of products for years now and I genuinely like everything they make. The perfect hair day, kit, features shampoo, conditioner, and dry shampoo all at a great size to make it through TSA without an issues or at least none that I’ve experienced so far. The shampoo and conditioner do a fantastic job of cleaning and conditioning your hair without stripping it so much that it feels like it’s gonna break it any second. This did leave my hair feeling hydrated and less frizzy. The dry shampoo I will say is not my favorite for every day use but it is my favorite for travel as the size is perfect whether it’s a short trip, a longer vacation, or something you’re wanting to keep in the desk at work in case you’re like me and you have incredibly oily hair. The shampoo and conditioner bottles both come sealed with a foil as you can see from my pics. The foils are not easy to get off, the larger bottles I’ve never had a problem, but these I actually needed to get out a pair of scissors in order to remove it, and I was surprised because I found this out while I was standing in the shower. So make sure you remove those before you jump in, don’t make the same mistake I did. The sent on these is very mild and not in any way floral or cloying like some shampoos can be so for those sensitive to scents this should hopefully not be an issue for you. My only complaint about this set, as it is a very solid line of products, is that the presentation wasn’t better. I would love to be able to give this as a gift to someone, but unfortunately, when everything is slapped together in a Ziploc bag that makes it a little bit hard to do. At this price point, I would’ve expected more but maybe I’m just splitting hairs, pun intended. Overall, this is a great set and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s interested in giving this line of hair products a try or who travels a lot like me and needs to-go products just as much as we need full size shower products.

This little bundle of Living Proof Travel Size PhD Shampoo, Conditioner, Dry Shampoo and Conditioner is a nice way to try these products before you commit to buying full sized bottles. I took these on a recent trip to the Midwest and found the shampoo to be a good clarifying shampoo for removing product build-up. I only lathered once, which was definitely enough. The shampoo left my hair a little tangled in the shower, but the conditioner quickly remedied that, and my wet hair combed out perfectly. While I didn’t like how my hair felt before the conditioner, after drying my hair felt clean and properly conditioned. I would probably only use this occasionally as I have very dry hair.

The dry shampoo was great after a dusty, sweaty day, but just a day after I had washed. I used it as directed, then bent over and shook my hair upside down. I did not have any white residue. I did shake the can well before use, and my hair is blonde. Both of those things help. A brunette might have a different comment on residue. The scent is light, pleasant, and not lingering. My hair felt reasonably clean and definitely lost the sweaty look I had acquired over the day. It got me through the next day, then I washed again.

I think these products are a little on the high side, although I have been using Living Proof styling products for a number of years and am willing to pay for many of their items for the benefits they provide to my hair and styling routine.

These bottles are great for traveling. Recently took them with me on vacation and they were easy to pack. As for the shampoo and conditioner itself, my experience is that they are meh. The shampoo left my hair dry and I had hoped the conditioner would soften and smooth, it it did not. However, I do color my hair and maybe that has something to do with the shampoo and conditioner. I used the dry shampoo after two days of not shampooing my hair and the dry shampoo left my hair flaky but not itchy. My sister also tried the dry shampoo and it worked great for her. I ended up giving her the dry shampoo which probably had about 3 more uses in this travel size.

Hands down, I think Living Proof dry shampoo is the best. I love this little travel set. The dry shampoo has a pleasant scent, and it actually works. It is one of the only dry shampoos I have tried that leaves my hair/scalp feeling nice and not that gritty, dirty feeling that a lot of them leave. The main reason I got the set was for the dry shampoo, but the regular shampoo and conditioner are good too. They have a pleasant scent, lather up nicely, wash out well, and leave my hair feeling clean and manageable. Overall, I’m happy to travel with this set!

These bottles are great for traveling. The shampoo was great but the conditioner was not as good. I used the dry shampoo but my hair was flaky after I used it not sure I would use again.
