Just as described: Castor oil in an amber glass bottle. (This will likely be my “lifetime supply”, as I’m OVER the castor oil insanity.) It’s thick as molasses, as ALL castor oil is. I bought this one because I’d read the reviews & trusted it would be the “real thing”, protected by tinted glass.
FYI: I have very dry skin, especially on my face. I’m experimenting with different methods to “seal in” whatever products or moisturizers I apply at bedtime. Due to the “industrial strength” of castor oil, I find it works better than anything at locking in moisture overnight.
Tip: Due to the viscocity, it’s best applied to wet skin. I sprinkle water onto my face & hands, and apply a very small amount (while still slightly damp). That’s my technique, which seems to work better than Vaseline or Aquaphor. The “dampened skin” helps a lot when trying to spread & apply. Hope this helps

I used this oil for over a month. I still have the moles I wanted to remove and the dark spots are still dark. It’s touted on the internet to do a lot of things that I didn’t get results with, but it certainly made my skin soft and smoother to the point that I got compliments. I am 79 and keep getting asked what products I am using on my face. I gave it five stars for that and will continue to use it to see if I get any other results.
