I have tried 4 other versions of heatless hair curlers. All would work fine, I’m sure, if you are a back sleeper. However, I am a thrashing sleeper — I sleep on my stomach, side, back. I toss and turn all night. I have not been able to use a heatless curler because I end up waking up middle of the night with it falling out or annoying me to the point where I rip it out just to get some sleep.
This one is the one, though. No wire means it is comfortable. Silk means it’s gentle on my hair. And the cap (that I thought would be useless) keeps my hair on the curler overnight. Does it look cute? No, but go to bed ugly so you can wake up pretty.
I love this curler. I have slightly layered, color and heat damaged, fine hair that reaches to arm pit length. I have not been able to sleep in any other heatless curler I’ve tried. This one is comfortable and I love the loose, beachy curl it gives me. I was hesitant to spend $39 when there are so many cheaper options, but this is THE BEST. Photo is just after taking out the headband, before brushing out my first time using it. I am sure I will get better results as I learn to use it more.

Very happy with this product! My hair is down past my waist and I like to have it wavy without using heat. It is so silky and the cap helps to keep my hair smoother. It may just be that my hair weighs down the curl but I can only get waves unless I use gel before I wrap it on.

I wasent sure how the top of the head would get curly with just this one. So I bought this and a 6 pack of smaller sized ones and IT WORKS BETTER THEN MY CURLING IRON! I’m shocked and soooo stoked I never have to put heat on my hair again! Highly recommend

I wanted to try this fad as it is way better for your hair than a curling iron.
The problem with these tubes is that if you want to have your hair curling in opposite directions it’s way too hard to hold the tube and 2 separate pieces of hair. It’s pretty straight forward if you want all the curls going in the same direction but I’ll stick with the robe tie because it’s wayyyyy easier and prettier.
I also noticed my curls fall out within about an hour using this. I have naturally waived hair so my hair usually holds a curl very well but this had it falling out so fast.
The clip, hair ties and bonnet are cute and useful so I’ll keep it but I probably will not be using the tube.

I have thin fine hair and trying to clip my hair to the roll above my forehead did not work well at all. As a result, the role itself slid all over the place and I could not manage to wrap my hair around it tightly.

My hair never takes curling irons or even professional styling. It falls out in a matter of an hour or so. This product is great! I use it on dry hair and spray a bit of water or moisturizing spray on the hair then wrap around the curler. Its soft and comfortable. I’ve not used it while I sleep but I think it would be fine. Takes about 3-4 hours to dry as long as you don’t get the hair too wet. Style stays until I wash it. Perfect product for me and my low maintenance style

I really wanted to like this curling set given the mulberry silk, price, and that you get a bonnet with it too. However, the bonnet truly is unusable – I have measured my head for EEG nets and know for a fact I have a small head and this bonnet is truly child-sized. I don’t know how people are using this thing & if they are they either don’t move at night or the bonnet is just going to fall off. I will be returning. I purchased a curling set with ribbons vs. blunt ends off of Etsy instead so I can tie it in front – I find this way more comfortable than sets that you cannot tie during sleep. Updated to 1 star for the return being a pain (had to print label and buy a bag to ship back, be warned)

My wife wanted a heat less hair curler for ages. As a surprise, I bought this sleep n curl kit. I noticed that there are pages of these things being sold, but most of them looked poorly made. That’s how I found this kit. It caught my eye right away. I’m big on quality, so I only buy the best. While this kit was a bit more expensive, it proved to be well worth it. She loved it and has been going on about how great it is. It has a travel bag. There’s a comfortable sleeping cap included. She even talks about the silk and how important silk is for her hair (I never knew). She’s really happy and I have to say, the curls look great too. Bravo!
