I love it that it’s so small and gives me the flexibility to use it any way I want. But I have naturally curly/wavy hair that only needs some help here and there, especially closer to the roots. With this iron I can go in, press for a few seconds, and voila an extra curl. But I like curly hair to be a bit messy, with curls going every which way, so this is ideal for that. But if you have straight hair and wish to make it all curly, I’d certainly use a bigger iron with multiple barrels and more temperature control, or even just a regular curling iron. It could take forever otherwise and it wouldn’t look natural. But to add a quick curl here and there, I’m thrilled with this.

It looks like it won’t make big enough curls. There was no protective glove included.

First want to clarify that I noticed most reviews for this page are for the three-barrel waver, this was not what I purchased. I bought the mini-S waver, which is about 7inches and fits in any travel bag super easily. There is only one heat setting and it heats up fast! You only need to press your hair for a few seconds for a strong wave. The waves are more shallow, looking more crimped, and look like a just-unbraided look. Great if you are wanting 90’s-style beach waves and something super compact and portable! Paid about $22 for this, I’m pretty happy with it so far!

I don’t understand all of these flooding the market. You do not get beachy waves as they all promote. Don’t waste your money.

Be careful, it gets hot and there is no temperature control but it is easy to use and light for traveling. Just be aware.

The box was damaged and there was no plastic wrap. It was just shoved in the box and the wires were not even tied.
