Would never buy again. Definitely not a sandy blonde color. I’m in the process of lightening my baylage to a beige blonde. Right now I have some pieces that are a really bright blonde and other pieces that are a darker blonde due to old dye build up. My colorist has to do several bleach sessions to get my hair where I want it. I’m american Indian so naturally dark hair. This toner didn’t work for me. Turned my bright blonde an orange color. Looked so stupid. I was ready to cry. A few washes with clarifying shampoo and baking soda and it wasn’t ad bad. Wouldn’t recommend if you have naturally dark hair. May work if you are all blonde or naturally blonde

So.. recently I have gone through a $300 highlights in salon that ended up not doing ANY blending 😪 after only 2 weeks I realised just how bad of a work was done (going for correction in a week time to see if they can fix it). But in a meantime I was looking for something to even out my hair tone. And this cali cali mask turned out just great! It gave this perfect “strawberry blond” shade that blended in my bleached blonde into my own dirty blonde roots.
I have not washed it yet, so will be able to give an update after. I did application on dry hair for 15 minutes, and since my hair is rather thick, I think I used about 80% of the package. Will see if I can maintain the color through wet hair application.
Update: adding one more photo after the first wash. Color became lighter, I have seen it being washed away in the bathtub, but enough remained to blend in my roots. I think during my next wash I will need to use the remaining product to maintain the color. I hope wet application would make the next tube of mask to last longer.

I have been using the cyber Tokyo (purple) color for over a year now, maybe 2 years, and I LOVE it. My hair is dark, salt and pepper in some places and I don’t bleach my hair. I get compliments almost every day on the color. At first I was taken aback at the price, I used keracolor for a time. But that brand has nothing in IGK and their color payout on my unbleached hair. Other brand was ok when I was bleaching. But this one absolutely does the lord’s work. I apply about once per month after shampoo, sit under a dryer for about 5 minutes and rinse.

First I will say that my hair is notorious for not holding color. Even a professionally done permanent red dye washed out of my hair within about a week or two, so I figured I’d try this but wasn’t shocked when it didn’t give me actually pink results. My hair is naturally fine and wavy with loose ringlets around my face and neck, but I have a ton of it and it’s long. It isn’t bleached or color treated at all, or even really damaged as I rarely use heat on it- also low porosity. It is naturally a kind of golden blonde, maybe slightly strawberry color.

I put this on dry hair as recommended for more intense results, and instead of the 10-15 minutes it recommends, I left it for 45 & used some saran wrap to trap the heat from my head hoping it would help the color absorb. When showering I rinsed until the water ran clear (didn’t stain my tub thankfully like some other reviewers mentioned) and then used my regular shampoo and conditioner. I like the smell, I think it’s pleasant, and my hair does feel soft but it is most definitely not pink. It toned the blonder parts of my hair a more honey/peachy color but it just looks natural rather than like a pink color. Even though it didn’t do what I intended, I still really like the tone so I will probably keep using this and may try it in the shower as a mask when my hair is wet and see what happens. So kind of a fail for what I thought it would do but I like the results in a different way so I’ll keep using it.

I bought this to tone up my balayage between appointments. I was very conservative in my application because I was nervous about the color application. I put it on for about three minutes after shampooing and rinsed. It colored my highlights a little bit, I will definitely leave it in longer next time, but it made my hair so shiny and glossy I am not even disappointed. My hair is the softest it has ever been and it is shiny and easy to work with. If you just want softness and shine, find one close to your natural color and leave it in for a few minutes you will not be sorry!

i bought this as a test run for shifting my neutral black hair to a blue black. it seemed great as a trial run, without the commitment of a permanent dye. sure, it smells great and is easy to apply. it did give my hair cooler tones, BUT it has dyed everything, absolutelt everything, blue. i’ve dyed my hair many colors over many years, so i knew this was a possibility. however, even when i washed my hair until the water ran clear, the dye ended up staining my face, ears, neck, hands, shower, clothes, etc. it is difficult to get the color out of all of these things. if i knew the trouble it would have caused, i would have just bought permanent hair dye. i wish i could get my money back. at least my hair is a little more cool toned, i guess 🤷

I used the color “honey please”. I hoped it would add some warmth which I do believe it did, I just wish it was more dramatic than it appears. I tried the dry hair method and used a good bit of the product to lather all of my hair. I will say that I did have to shampoo after the mask and that may have taken away from the color but there’s no way you can’t shampoo after it’s just too greasy.
