My boyfriend is growing out his hair and told me to get him some hair gel so he could “slick his hair back”. Having used hair gel in the past I was worried it would look sticky and hard. It doesn’t at all. It keeps his hair in place without looking “wet/sticky/hard”. It actually makes his hair soft, he loves it. Glad this came in a pack of two – the tins are a bit small. He went through the first tin pretty quick.

If you have hair, this will tame it. GOOD pomade used to cost $20+ back in the day. When $20 was a lot of money. This stuff hit the market, was superior and absolutely affordable. I stockpile at least 6 of these cans. Never less. And my hair seems to have gotten thicker and my grey has stopped progress. Despite my alcoholism. Amazing.

I’ve tried so many brands on my hair from cheap to expensive brands that you can get with a cosmetology license. I’m Filipino with black coarse hair so the majority of hair products are marketed toward the type of men who aspire to be in a boy band. I’ve even created a cocktail of other products to get that exact result I would like. My hair has slept around; I mean, it has been with all sorts or hair goop. But for some reason, I keep coming back to Axe’s Clean Cut Look.
It has a shine that is subtle but brings out the black back in my stack. It molds my hair to shape I want without having it turn into a violent hedgehog. Lastly, I do like how it doesn’t leave a whirlwind of dander like Edward Scissorhands shaving a frozen masterpiece. My only gripe, which is a major inconvenience, is if it gets into your eyes then get ready to suffer the wrath of Tobasco in your eyes. This stuff stings if you get it in your eyes. Whether it’s from wiping your sweat after a long day of glass blowing, or taking a shower and moving to the tune of Flashdance then you might as well be maced in the face. This is the only brand I buy and the only Axe that blows my sax.

This works on my husband’s unmanageable hair. Don’t need to use much. Since I grew out my gray and it has become frizzy, just a tad of this stuff on your hands to smooth over your hairs takes vmcar of the fly always! We like it!
