Been using this same brand for a year and a half before it was taken off the market for about a year. So happy that it’s come back. Formula seems a little different however a tad water down maybe I’m not sure. But overall I’m very happy with it it appears to of the same sheen on the appearance of what my gray hair looks like. In the past when I purchased this product from a salon it had a sealed cap underneath the plastic cap. This product however did not have a seal on it. So I may order my next bottle from the salon and see if it’s any different than buying it from Amazon. As well as I will come back and make notations on this product again to let you know whether buying it from a salon comes with a seal on the bottle.

Until I saw a review just now that the color of the actual Oribe Silverati shampoo has a slight silver/blue color to it, I have not understood why this very expensive shampoo has not helped keep my all white hair all white. The shampoo I received from Amazon is creamy yellow.
When I first used the shampoo, I was very disappointed because I thought it *turned* my hair yellow. I stopped using it and reverted to other shampoos that promise better results.
I hate to waste things, though, so I tried it again this week, and once again, have observed my hair has taken on a yellowish tint again. I came back to read through the reviews again, and saw that the color of the shampoo I received was off. So I will just toss the bottle out. Lesson learned.
Would not buy from Amazon, unfortunately, though. It was a costly mistake.

A wonderful silver-hair shampoo that is NOT purple and doesn’t have that stinky smell! Oribe does work to keep yellowing and brassiness away. I also use the matching conditioner (purchased elsewhere). Definitely recommend and will purchase again.

I have low porosity long fine natural gray hair, and I have tried various purple shampoos, and they always tint my hair rather than toning out the bassinets. Oribe Silverati is sort of gray with purple “sparkles” and it does exactly what I want. It is pricey but well worth it to me!

The product box the shampoo came in was used. It wasn’t damaged from delivery but worn and frayed. Made me doubt the shampoo inside was actually the product I wanted or something cheaper poured into the bottle
