This is a big bottle of shampoo. It lathers well with a hint of floral scent. White and thick consistency, a moderate amount is enough to lather all my hair. Easy to rinse the shampoo off and leaves hair and scalp clean and refreshing. If pair with the conditioner, together they keep frizz under control. Hair is smooth and shiny after. Good hydrating shampoo.

I love how soft my hair is thanks to this shampoo, but I can’t stand the smell, despite what the other reviews state. It’s too strong and makes me gag. UPDATE. I have to throw the shampoo out. I just can’t take the smell.

I have medium curly hair and when I’m outdoors in the summer, it get dry and frizzy. I’m never sure whether the shampoo does much more than clean my hair, since it’s in contact with it only a couple minutes at most. I’ve tried Verb with and without a conditioner (I used a spray one I had on hand). I think it provides a little more moisture and frizz reduction than some other shampoos I tried, but using the conditioner is what made the difference in how my hair behaved after a day outdoors.
Likes
– thick enough to easily control how much you pour out
– looks pretty, is pearly white
– lather is rich and a moderate amount that is plenty for me
– cleans well
– mild floal scent. I imagine if you wanted it scented differently, you could add little of your favorite essential oil, it’s that mild a scent
Dislikes
– does sting if it gets in your eyes. I know it says avoid eye contact, but drips happen in the shower. No long term effect, rinsed and it was relieved
– needs to be used with other products to control frizz
The list of ingredients is long (but done in French as well as English), took 2 photos to include it all. Bottle is a #2 plastic. Standard pivot cap, and the lid does come off if you squeeze out too much and want to put some back.

Comes in a large bottle for a good value. I find the scent to be mild, and it doesn’t stick to my hair.
I have thin, color treated hair cut just above shoulder length. This leaves my hair feeling light and clean, and does not cause itching as some other shampoo does on my sensitive scalp.

Verb Hydrate has been in my rotation for a long time. This updated scent is fantastic. Lots of Value for $20.

I have 2 teen girls that use hot tools on their hair daily!! My youngest has thinner hair and the hot tools just really take it out of her hair! She started using this and it really has added some shine back to her hair. She said she likes the subtle smell and it really seems like it’s made her hair happier overall. I love the size- we go through shampoo like it’s going out of style so I love when I can get shampoo in bulk so, loved that.

That’s all. I thought Verb updated the packaging for the shampoo I love but also they added fragrance and yeah I’m sure it’s fine for those folks who like fragrance but I specifically bought this shampoo because it was fragrance free. I’m super disappointed. Wanted to share this with others in case you were looking for the old formula.. this isn’t it. Good luck
